Annette's is not your typical diner. They are casual, beyond casual. It actually makes for a great dining experience! The wait staff were busy, but attentive. I find that to be an excellent attribute no matter where I go. We were a party of 7. Two of us started with soups; French Onion, and Corn Chowder. Un-effining believable!!! So good!!! To be honest, I was really impressed with everything. The portions were huge, the quality outstanding, and the prices were more than reasonable. Dirt cheap, actually, compared to what you get elsewhere. We were there on a Saturday evening, so we were introduced to some very interesting specials. I got the "Diner Bomb". It was amazing! Grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, and HUGE chunks of prime rib, stuffed into a sub roll, with the juices of the meat and veggies saturating the bread. I would go there every day if I could! Delectable!!!!

Food was OK for the price. Could have gotten better food down the road in town. Wife asked for jalapeños on the side but they put it in the breakfast burrito. When she mentioned it they said ok and walked off. Service was friendly. And they did have some toys for little ones (though could tell it had been a while since they had been cleaned). Place could use a good cleaning. Looks like it has been a few or many years since it had a cleaning. Could tell by the state of the home fries the griddle has not been cleaned right. Anyone who cooks on a griddle knows what I mean. That burnt carbon pieces that come off when grilling something else.

Cute diner with yummy food! We got wraps the night before which were delicious so we had to go back for breakfast. We were able to sit outside at the picnic tables since we had our 3 dogs with us (6 of us!). Our server was great and even my 2 crazy Russel Terrier-chihuahua mix puppies liked her! The pancakes were full of Maine blueberries which is exactly what I wanted! They also had turkey sausage which I did have to ask about (a lot of places do not list it on their menus). Everyone was happy with their meals. Check out some unique food inside and the pastry!

Stopped by last night for dinner with my son and his family. Mind you we frequent here often, usually on Friday nights to exchange the grandkids. We have never had any issues in the past 3 years. Last night was one of the worst experiences we have had there. I am sure there was more that one reason that things were not spot on. There was a fair, not expecting so many orders, obviously short staffed. There appeared to be one server taking order, answering the phone and delivering orders. So how was the meal... All orders were taken nicely. Was told they were out of onion rings so opted for sweet potato fries. Not a problem. Several moments (like 5 to 7) we hear yelling from the back "no sweet potato fries". Server then asked if I wanted something different. I opted for a side salad. We were not told that there was going to be an upcharge for it. Salad did not come out with my burger, nor was there any dressing. We had to ask for the dressing types, then waited 5 mins for it. We ended up getting up and going to the bar to get it. My husband order the cheese burger deluxe no tomato. When it was delivered, there was tomato on it. Not that big of a deal, but what if there was an allergy. Both my grandson ordered kids meals, one personal pepperoni pizza and one cheeseburger. The pizza came out without the pepperoni and the cheeseburger came out with ice cold fries. Most of the orders had fries that were cold. Then we go to pay the bill. Well that was totally horrifying. Bill total was over $100.00, no including tip. Not complaining, there was six of us eating. While reviewing the bill, we saw that we were charged full price for what they called a side salad. When we brought this up to the lady at the counter, she went off about how much potatoes cost compare to the salad. Difference of $1.50. Okay? then why charge for the full salad. She stated well the server should have told you. Nothing was mentioned. Again, the server was running her butt off. I also mention that most of the fries that came with the dinners were ice cold. The person behind the counter was well I guess I will have to review with my fryer people. There was not an offer to waive any portion of the bill due to all the mistakes that were made. The lady behind the counter then try to claim some act "Human Error Act"? This lady behind the counter then stated that if we were that unhappy she could make the server pay for the entire meal. THIS IS ILLEGAL. This person behind the counter was very curt, and...

I ordered a chicken broccoli and ziti to go. I asked twice to make sure I received ziti. When I got home and opened the to go box it was angel hair pasta, the chicken was absolutely gross seemed like they just poured it out of bag and threw it on the grille and tasted old probably freezer burn. The fettuccini sauce was also terrible the smell that was in the house was also bad just from opening the to go box. The garlic bread was terrible also, I took a bite and I had to spit it out it was a very poor attempt at making garlic bread. I have also been in to sit down for breakfast and I definitely have had better. I am very disappointed in Annette's and will be taking my to go and breakfast business elsewhere and will be advising my friends and family to take their to go elsewhere also. I just received a response from I believe it to be from the owner. I have read many of the reviews the good and the bad on your site. If you dare write a negative review for Annettes Diner, plan to get a response that is just plain rude in my opinion. I know many people in the area that are in the restaurant business in Naples and Bridgton area. I show some of them the rude response from the owner at Annette's from my review and others. They could not believe instead of trying to resolve the issue and possibly get back the customer, they go on the defense. For instance on my review they responded calling me a drama queen and insinuated that I must have smoked a joint or something that would affect my taste buds. All I have to say is I live in Naples area and if anyone says where to go for something good to eat be it breakfast, lunch or dinner I will definitely point them to another dining facility. If they keep writing rude and insulting responses to customers reviews I hope they plan to lose present and...

I was disappointed with my experience. The floor was noticeably dirty, with water spilled in several areas—creating a messy and unsafe environment. On top of that, the menu showed one set of prices, but the final bill charged us higher amounts. When we asked about the difference, the staff said (with mocking attitude) prices were "subject to change" without any clear notice or explanation. It felt misleading and unprofessional. I hope the management takes steps to improve both cleanliness and transparency. I appreciate the clarification. However, as customers, we expect the prices listed on the menu to match what's charged-especially when no notice is given about changes. Transparency is key to a positive dining experience. Also, I want to clarify that we did leave a tip of more than 18% for our server, because we understand and respect how hard service staff work. That said, a clean environment and consistency in pricing are part of what makes people want to return, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case during our visit. I appreciate the clarification.
