My wife and I made the trip to Aggies last night. Dinner time. We waited to be seated for maybe twenty minutes. One of the waitresses, after about ten of those minutes said, "someone will be with you soon." You were fairly busy and like everywhere else, understaffed. I tried to be understanding. I've been a fan of your place for a bit, though I usually am more of a lunchtime frequenter. Finally, after crossing my arms and standing forward some little bit into the restaurant proper, the same waitress came forward and gesturing, said, "You can sit over there or somewhere over there." NOTHING had changed regarding seating since our arrival. No one had left. Incredulous, I responded a little testily, "You couldn't have said that 20 minutes ago?" She responded shortly, "Had to ask, first." I didn't know what that meant. My wife and I sat down for a moment, but the absurdity of the careless treatment foreshadowed our expectation regarding staying. We left and went to Steaks instead.
I write this because I think you simply have a process problem with a simple fix that otherwise will cost you customers and their satisfaction.
We were really looking forward to dinning there. Hell, it probably cost me ten bucks just for the drive and I continued to feel baffled and irritated by the incomprehensible prioritizing and customer care displayed for miles, driving away.
You can easily fix this before putting a bad taste in anyone else's mouth. I'll probably come back when traveling alone someday for a lunchtime visit, though it will take a minute. You have great burgers. My wife, on the other hand, says she will...
Read moreMy husband and I haven't dined at Aggies in about 2 years. We decided to have lunch on a Friday early afternoon. They were not real busy. We sat down, noticed the table was not to clean moved to another. Not clean either. As we sat there we filled out our Keno tickets for 10 games. Finally had a waitress ask for our drinks. We took our tickets up. She took our order. I went to use the restroom, door handle falling off, bathroom was a mess. Walking back I tripped on some of the tile in the restaurant. We noticed lots of tile coming up. Very dangerous. We sat and waited 10 Keno games , waited and waited. Our meal finally came. My 1/4 lbs burger with no bun looked like a kiddi size burger. They didn't put on the bacon. The burger was cold. When I ordered it asked if the chips that came with were fried with chicken, fish ect. I am gluten intolerant. She said oh yeah fried with every thing. I asked if there was somthing I could get insted. She said yes cottage cheese or cold slaw. I dont like either. Thinking it came with I ordered the cottage cheese for my husband. Not one word about a 3 dollar charge. I would never have ordered. Every single restaurant my husband and I go to always offer somthing else at no charge. We eat out alot. My husband's food came out a little less than warm. We will definitely find another place to eat. Dirty, cold food, and dangerous. Glad we didn't get sick off food. Also not real friendly either. Nothing like it used to be. So sad. It used to be one of my favorite...
Read moreGood food but the place has a weird setup. The bar is completely separate from the restaurant with different outside doors to the same building. Same food on the bar side but limits patrons to over 21. The kind of thing that was popular in the late 80s/very early 90s. The restaurant was busy as heck but the bar had no wait. Servers were fast attentive and friendly. Had the perch and it was very good. Perfect amount of breading was, fresh and definitely used fresh oil. The bar has a very limited beer selection by todays standards 3-4 taps but the taps we're clean and beer was good.
The only bad part of the meal was the Coldslaw sucked. Was mushy and slimy
The restaurant location is on a very dangerous and poorly designed 3 way corner . Be very careful leaving if your headed back to Jackson area . They need to make it either a normal corner with an all stop or a curve ,...
