Horrible attitudes and service. We called a day before hand to reserve for 40+ people and the woman we spoke to told us that there was a room for us that would hold atleast 40 people and to go ahead and come in the next morning. When we got there the next morning the waitresses had attitudes and were upset bc we had such a big party of people. My Aunt explained to them that we had called the day before and that the woman we spoke to said there would be enough room. The waitress then started arguing with my aunt and told her that she was the woman she spoke to on the phone and that she told us "that the room would fit only 40 people and that there was only 1 cook that would be there and he wasn't going to be able to cook all of our food and be able to make sure all they're other costumers in the Cafe would get their food without things coming out cold or having cook errors. My Aunt explained to her that we were not there to stress them out and that we would help get drinks passed out and food passed out to help make the waitresses jobs a little easier. The woman continued to have an attitude behind everything that she was saying. You could see in her whole body language that she was very upset that we were there and then walked away from my Aunt as she was talking. My Aunt then asked to speak to the boss. The woman told my Aunt that she was the boss. We were there for 2 hours before everyone finally had all their food. My Aunt paid the bill and also gave them a good tip even after the horrible service and attitudes that we had to deal with on top of waiting 2 hours for everyone to be served they're food. It wasn't until the bill was paid and they seen the tip she left them that they started smiling and asking us if we wanted refills on our drinks or to go boxes. I literally waited 30 minutes just to get a refill for my sons chocolate milk. And to put the icing on the cake me and my children had to sit there and listen to the woman that claimed to be the boss (she was wearing a pink Victoria Secret PINK shirt) talking about our party of people to the table behind us apologizing to them and telling them that we all just walked in without calling ahead of time and reserving seats and that she wanted to make sure they got they're food before our party of people got our food bc there was only 1 cook in the kitchen and she didn't want to make them wait. We will never return to this Cafe again and I would not recommend anyone else to go there. Hopefully they get a bigger and better trained group of staff in the near future that want to make money without treating they're good paying customers like we're an inconvenience. They're lucky they...
Read moreThis is my 2nd review of the Napoleon Cafe. My 1st review wasn't good, it was shortly after restaurants just started reopening from Covid, a lot of places couldn't find help, etc. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! After we placed our order, waitress forgot to bring me a coffee refill after she asked me if I wanted one. Sometime is starting to pass and my wife told me our waitress was standing by the register just talking up a storm with one of the locals. It was close to 5 minutes (that's 2 hours in dog years).Another 5 minute passes and my wife said here come our food. Let's start with what was forgotten by the waitress. My wife's butter for her pancakes, My coffee refill that was already forgotten when we first arrived so that counts as 2. Now let's talk about what was wrong. My food was barely above room temperature. My scrambled eggs were cold, my hashbrowns were cold, my side order of sausage gravy was cold and lumpy like cottage cheese and not because of the sausage. The sausage gravy tasted like grease, like spooning lard in my mouth. I asked for dry wheat toast, came back buttered and white? I can't speak for other but when we go out, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's to give my wife a break. I want to seenher relaxed, happy and have someone give her the service that she provides for her family. Is it asking that much? I understand this place is in a rural area and a lot of people don't want to drive out of their way for something good or may not have the extra money to eat somewhere nicer. I personally work hard for what I have and I really tired of local businesses taking advantage of their community with lower standards, and not caring enough about the quality of the food and service. The only way places like this will change is if people stand up for themselves and put a stop to them handing you hog slop and telling you its a hamburger. Cause they know you'll eat it and not say a word, because it's the only place they have to go to, and the owners know it. I won't be back, fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you, there won't be a...
Read morePlease please please let me rate this place a well deserved 0 rather than a one star. The menu prices were ok except for these"pies" $25.00 for a pie???? Really! But on to the food or service. Still trying to figure out which one was worse. Lets talk about food. We ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. Personally I have had better food at a hospital cafateria. It tasted horrible. All four of us at the table tried and rejected it. And why did they chop it up like I was 4. I can cut my own biscuit. Speaking of, your a resturant. Stop using store dough jiffy mix. I ordered chopped beef and potatoe's. The salad came out after the meal but thats only after we begged the waitress to give us all we ordered but that goes to horrible service not food quality. We'll get to that. Again your a restaurant and your serving nasty canned mushrooms. Im sure you get your food from gordons. I'm sure they sell fresh mushrooms. Have you ever tried this crap you serve? Three of the 4 orders were messed up. Had to get our own drink refills. Lets just say the waitress would recieve a 1 out of 100 not 5. ...
