If Heaven has Whole Belly Clams and Lobster Rolls, they got them here at Jimmy’s Port Side. Starting with the WBC’s, they’re simply not enough superlatives in the English language to throw at these beauties. I’ve eaten WBC’s at every clam shack from Ct to Maine, including Ipswich MA and these are hands down the best I’ve had period. First off they were huge, succulent perfectly fried, not greasy and delicious. The portion was huge and every clam had a huge belly attached, not some of them, all of them. I actually bought them as a back up in case my Lobster salad was a bust and that was not the case. The Lobster Salad was again one of, if not the best, cold Lobster Salad roll I have ever had and I would challenge anyone to find one better. Huge chunks of lobster meat, not shredded like some local tourist ripoff places do. No red onion, a touch of celery, some dill or parsley and a lite amount of mayo….a perfect concoction to be able to really taste the lobster, oh yeh and btw, no lettuce!!, like so many other places add at the bottom so that it looks like you are getting a lot of lobster. The lobster was jam packed into the lightly toasted hot dog style(but larger) bun. I could barely finish it after the WBC’s. Now for those who might think that $105.00 for two lobster rolls and a side of Whole Belly Clams is “expensive”, well it isn’t if the quality & quantity match and this most definitely matched the price point, so no complaints. Paying first, I will say I was taken back by the total charge & said to myself; “this better be the best I’ve ever had”for that price….and it was. Just Outstanding

Jimmy’s Port Side has the most amazing and delicious seafood that we’ve ever had! Their piece de resistance is their Lobster Bisque. It is the most delicious, succulent and flavorful lobster bisque that I have ever had, and NO ONE can hold a candle to theirs. You open your container to a flavored aroma stimulating your senses: On the top of your bisque is a pile of seasoned and sautéed Ritz cracker crumbles, sinking into the thick, tasty bisque. Practically every spoonful is full of sweet, delicious lobster. It’s as if they dropped the contents of an overfull lobster roll into their bisque. It’s like a box of Cracker Jacks with a prize in every handful! Once you get to the bottom of the container, you feel sad because you’ve finished, but your stomach is dancing happily. Their clam cakes, clam strips, tuna melts and all their food is delicious, but their lobster bisque is really THE BOMB! Make sure you get there this summer! Their staff is helpful and friendly as well!

My family stopped for dinner Saturday night, we stood in line for the counter service and the prices were for the most part what you’d expect in Galilee in late July.I noticed a chowder / clam cake combo that listed an additional charge for cracker and a spoon - yep a spoon. We did notice that the seemed to take longer than expect no matter what was being ordered. Once we reached the window I asked for the market price for what I was having- clams $34 was in my opinion too high, but is what I wanted. What shocked me was a notice on the counter stating there was an almost 4% service charge for using credit or debit, but there was an atm inside- ok I’ll hold up the line and go use it putting it on the counter seems shady as no one can see it til …. In the window was also a notice from I’ll assume the owner trying to justify the prices based on the market. I’m curious where the spoon falls in that category. The food came and with it came the little bag with napkins , forks and condiments -but no spoon for my bisque. When I went to the counter again the woman thought better to argue with me than just give me the spoon til the third request.overall sadly the quality of the food did not justify the prices. So I’ll sum it all up, remind the staff the customer is always right this is especially the a case in the tiny tourist town flooded with hungry people after a long day on the block Move the credit card up charge sign so it’s easily seen before ordering and if your goin to order the lobster bisque bring...

Although I thoroughly enjoy the baked stuffed cod, the service here is horrendous. Hence the one star. When I do go here, I always ask for the same server. There is only one server that provides excellent service. All of the other servers are known to ignore customers and can be rude. I once had a bright purple string in my food. I called over my server (not the server I ask for) and showed her the string. She acknowledged the string, confirmed she saw it and took it to the back. About 20 minutes later she came back with the superviser and a dish that had been cut through. I sent my meal back fully intact. I hadn't cut into it. The supervisor then asked me to show her the string. I looked at it and said I don't see the string but this is not how I sent my dish back. I even told her that I showed the server the string. She then asked the server if she saw the string and the server denied it. I could tell that the supervisor had already told the server to say that she hadn't seen anything. I could not believe that the supervisor was trying to make it look like I lied about a string being in my food. Word to the wise, if you ever find anything in your food there take a picture of the server holding it pointing at the foreign object. Otherwise they will try to make you look like a fool. Such a shame because I really enjoyed the food but dealing with the staff is...
