Rancho Alegre Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Nashville

First time trying here after a long day of travel. My wife's food arrived with a hair in it and was remade. Rice came out cold after that. In the mean time my daughter's food came out with a piece of plastic on top of her burrito larger than the size of a quarter. The staff took the piece of plastic but did not remake. We kind of all looked at each other in disbelief. The staff acted very nonchalantly as if this was a norm. My toddler fell asleep after ordering so we packed his food up to go. We got home and a little later he started eating his quesadilla. This had a dime size chunk of something in it. Immediately threw it away as well as all of the other left overs just in case there were other contaminants. Very disappointed. I'm a huge fan of traditional Mexican soft corn tortilla tacos with steak variety being my favorite. When I travel for work or leisure I ask the locals what restaurant serves the best Mexican food and then patronize whichever one wins the popular vote.

I almost always choose traditional tacos because of their simplicity. Usually consisting of steak, onions & cilantro for a taco to stand out as tasting expodiently better than most requires both sufficient seasoning and proper cooking technique.

Tacos from Rancho Alegre are among the best I've EVER had for that very reason. The steak isn't just seasoned well but also charred adding so much to the flavor profile of the dish. The portions and prices both made me happy as well.

Ok. I've passed by this little slice of Mexico, well in Nashville,(Georgia, that is) many times and each time thought," I should try that place one night." Well we finally did, and more glad I could not be. The chips and salsa were a crunchy and rojo fresco(hopefully that makes sense) delight. The margaritas were 2 4 1 and were excelente! I even had a couple "custom" breakfast tacos made to go for the next morning. Well let me tell you, I should have ordered a dozen for the rest of the week as they were delicioso!
