Mighty Leaf teas and a fun collection of sandwiches and pastries, right next to Shaw Park. There are tables inside and outside, and there’s an entire case of gluten free food.

They also have these ā€œguilt freeā€ chocolates, and I’m all for dark chocolate, but they taste like my mother’s box of essential oils, and that’s not a good taste.

I love that you can get any tea as a tea latte (a lot of cafes don’t have the patience for that, but I’m usually choosing tea over coffee so I’m grateful).

They also have a kids menu of options for $7.95 for a kids meal. Thats a great idea.

Free 30 min parking out front.

There is one big step to get inside.

Check out Renee’s Pantry next door for take home meals for dinner!

They’re quite affordable too!

Doesn’t feel like they have AC, so that’s why I took a star off. Too hot for a...

Absolutely love the Charles River Coffee House—easily a five-star gem! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the cozy, inviting atmosphere and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee that instantly lifts your mood. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, always happy to chat or help you discover a new favorite. Their coffee is consistently excellent, whether it’s a classic espresso, a perfectly balanced latte, or one of their creative seasonal drinks. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place that feels like a second home—ideal for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or just enjoying a peaceful moment with a great cup of coffee....

Stepping into Charles River Coffee House is like wrapping yourself in the warmth of a community quilt. It's the kind of place where the coffee is always robust and the smiles are free and easy. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you'll be treated like family. The pastries are a flaky, buttery delight, and their sandwiches? Let's just say they've nailed the perfect bread-to-filling ratio. It's not just a coffee shop; it's a cozy haven in Wellesley, MA, where every cup of coffee feels like a personal gift from the barista to you. If you're around, don't miss the chance to make your day better with their signature blend and a side of...

Lovely little community coffee shop: quaint interior, friendly service, and good food. The green eggs and ham bagel sandwich was very good (I don’t know why I never thought to put green pesto on a breakfast sandwich before!). The regional coffees were better than other options available at most nearby coffee shops; today they had Nicaraguan and Peruvian, pre-brewed in a carafe but served nice and hot. Indoor seating is limited, but can accommodate 8-10 comfortably at four small tables. I’m still looking for a place to get fresh pour overs made from specifically-sourced and small batch roasted beans, but this is a fine place exactly as it is.
