I would give this little spot more than 5 stars if I could. We stopped in for lunch on our way from Ouray, Colorado to Moab, Utah just on a whim and it was literally one of the best pizza's we've had ever. And we have traveled quite a bit. It was easily top 3 (if not the best) and we've been to several places in Europe (Italy, Spain, France, England, etc), all over the US, and Canada and this was just shockingly good. Wow. Previous reviewers were not exaggerating when they say this is the best pizza they’ve had in a long time. Their pizza is on the order of a specialty pizza restaurant in a big city. I’m a pizza snob… we make our own at home, from scratch (including the dough and sauce), in a specialty pizza oven. We had the Mauna Lau and it was delicious… perfectly thin crust with the right amount of crunch and chewy, super flavorful (just the right amount of salt in the dough so it’s not bland!) and enjoyed the balance of spicy (jalapeño) with a touch of sweet (pineapple).

We were staying in Paradox for a few nights to hike and decided to check out the Flying Bear. Wow! SO glad we did! The people, atmosphere, and food were all amazing. This is a chill neighborhood place with couches, games, books, and overall good vibes. But! The food is really where it's at.
