Subway — Restaurant in Nekoosa

This was first time in this subway. Customer Service was impeccable. I was greeted warmly and wasn’t rushed on deciding my options. Even was told “Today is free cookie friday”, i did get one for sure! Was asked if wanted toasted bread, what kind of cheese. ALL impeccable! Store was very clean and tidy. Had underage employees working, pretty sure no adults were on duty, still surprised employees were professional and all appropriate as expected to be, even when i was only customer eating. Extremely impressed at such young people’s work ethics. I haven’t seen that in such a long time in this economy, that is the way it should be. Whoever owns this location needs to increase the pay so they can get better employees. There's one younger woman who seems like she's always overworked and doing everything on her own.

My most recent trip here was very disappointing. A new employee was working but was totally "checked out" and has no customer service skills. I can forgive inexperience but he didn't bother to greet us or ask any of the basic questions.

On top of that, something went very wrong with my sub, making it extremely soggy by the time I'd driven the two blocks home. Rotisserie Chicken, and bacon (heated), Sliced Cheese, Lettuce, Spinach and Mayo. Not sure what would have been so wet but the sandwich was only half edible.

The girl that was there was very rushed taking our order and making our sandwiches. She talked so fast my daughter didn't even know she was talking to her. As my boyfriend was paying I mentioned to him that she was closing in 20 mins. He wanted to eat there so we did. She started to take the soda machine apart to clean it again rushing so fast. Normally we fill up our drinks for the ride home since we have a long way to go but couldn't this time. It was very tense sitting there eating as she rushed around.
