I BECAME SICK please dont state on more recent reviews that no one share how sick they got due to your restaurant otherwise you would be the first to shut down. Only wanted an apology. Other reviews had bugs in food. You have only owned it for a little over a year.
Waitress was very sweet and friendly. Very helpful answering all my questions. She didn't write the order down and my order came with beef gravy instead of the chicken gravy which was ordered. Simple mistake which anyone can make. Instead of just replacing my order with the correct order I was given just the corn to eat. Then she came out with the mashed potatoes & told me it would be a while for the chicken but before I could say anything she was gone. After 10 minutes she returned with a third plate, the chicken & a small cup of gravy on the side. I asked her to please replace the now cold potatoes for hot potatoes. I did not share that I thought they should have come together to begin with. After a couple minutes she returned with runny pototes & gravy. I then had to ask her for silverware. This took a couple minutes. The chicken was extremely greasy as I cut into it. She didnt return to the table & had to be flagged for drink refill. She would not look at us. We heard a males voice in the back shut out "supporting" words. We knew they were talking about us even though we didn't do anything wrong. Next a different waitress delivering us our bill. I asked what happened to the first gal, we were told that she had a family emergency with her child & had to leave. It was a little hard to believe. NOT ONE PERSON ASK HOW OUR MEAL WAS. AND NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A PIECE BY PIECE MEAL. But when we got into our car we saw our waitress through the window. We were lied to besides. I was sick within 30 minutes & could not leave a restroom for the evening forcing us to purchase a hotel for the evening.
RESPONSE TO MANAGER: This is true to fact review. There is no reason to personally attack me for telling the truth. I worked resturant mgmt for years. It's YOUR responsibility to approach the customer in such situations. There was only one other table being used besides your banquet. Tables were left dirty across from us the complete time we were there. When sitted we were given a menu & silverware. *NO card as you FALSELY stated.
I never asked for anything special only the meal pictured. As the third party going off of 'hear say', you needed to intervene when you were made aware of the problem. It's poor judgement on your part telling staff to serve a meal piece by piece that's meant to be served together. Puts staff in an embarrassing spot. Corn from the first incorrect meal, later sending out just the potatoes then much later sending out the chicken-greasy. People would rather wait & be served one complete hot meal as ordered with silverware which was removed with the incorrect meal?
We didn't ask for mgmt because we could tell that she was embarrass & upsetting herself. There was no need to have mgmt correct her when she was frustrated. At no time were we negative or "difficult customers". Just the opposite. Again I worked it, so I understand & we kept quite but would have shared a positive thought had anyone realized costumer service & noticed us. This is NOT, "skewed". I wish I had a better experience then sitting in a hotel bathroom wondering where's the nearest hospital.
We paid full price per our receipt as proof. (PHOTO) This meal was NOT free. Per your response we have a credit coming or YOU ARE BOLDLY LYING, Making it even harder to believe that our waitress truly left for a family emergency after the refill & returned by the time I finished that glass. (15 mins).
It's unacceptable to personally attack me. Things happen. I felt bad for the waitress, now I really feel bad for her working under this kind of mgmt. I can't believe the owner allows this type of customer interaction. But it's the owner that is attacking. Maybe the BBB is a better...
Read moreWe do not recommend this place. First thing you see when you walk in is a large sign stating there is a 3% fee for using a credit card. Hostess was not very cordial when seating is. I didn't get better with our waitress. Cheeseburger was over cooked and dry, baked potato came with sour cream when it was specifically ordered with butter only. Brisket did have a good flavor, but it was dry, overcooked and very tough. I would have asked for a steak knife to cut it, but our waitress didn't return to check on us until she brought our check. We considered paying cash because of the fee for credit card and wish now that we would have. Our credit card was never returned to us. When we asked our waitress to bring it back she told us that she didn't have it. Her and her manager did look for it but it never appeared. The waitress did let it slip that this has happened before, meaning that credit cards have been lost before. We left our name and phone number for them to call if they found it but have not heard a word. It is no wonder, because they acted like they didn't care if they found the card. On our way home, we contacted the credit card company and reported it stolen/lost and requested it be replaced with a new account number and freeze any future charges on the old number. The prices where exhorbant for the quality/quantity that we received. Needless to say we will not return and don't recommend this establishment. If you do go, pay with cash as a credit card may not...
Read moreService: 5* absolutely. Friendly, welcoming, attentive and efficient. Couldn't ask for better. Facility: 3*. Seat cushions on the benches severely worn and patched together with plastic tape. It's clean, but could definitely use some TLC and updating. Food: 3*. The ribs were OUTSTANDING, great flavor, "fall-off-the-bone" tender, done just right. The burnt ends would have been great, except; they smothered it in their "just average" BBQ sauce. Therein lies the issue I have with Buzz's, there's only one sauce, a fairly sweet, semi-tangy, tomato based sauce that's fairly bland. They need to offer a range of sauces - as most BBQ places do. And their "burnt ends" need to just be kept hot in natural juices until they're served and let the customer choose the sauce. My wife had the brisket - it was dry and fairly tough, she added their sauce to the slices and said it didn't help much. Their BBQ beans were quite tasty, with bits of meat in them and a nice flavored sauce (probably their BBQ sauce, if I had to guess). The onion rings were standard pre-breaded commercial rings - probably from Costco or Sysco, etc. Nothing to write home about and they were a "premium" side for $1 extra.
Would I go back, yes. BUT I'd probably take in my own choice of sauce, or JUST have the ribs -...
