My husband, his family and friends and I spent a few days in Vegas for my husband's birthday, my husband loves cheesecake so I wanted to find the best cheesecake baker in Vegas to make his cheesecake. I was thoroughly impressed with the bakers communication, and his ability to drop off the cheesecake to the hotel we were staying at. The baker was very kind, worked fast, and didn't make the situation difficult for me, considering I was asking him to go out of his way to deliver the cheesecake.
The cheesecake I chose to have him make was the Pecan Pie Cheesecake, the baker told me he hadn't ever made this cheesecake before, or had only made it once before. I asked if I should have chosen something else, he said no, he said he likes challenges.
The overall look of the cheesecake was great, it held together well, it looked amazing, plenty of pecans on the top, there weren't any gaps in the Pecan layer, the cheesecake didn't look burnt or cracked.
There was however, quite a bit of crust, some areas were almost a 1:1 ratio of crust and cheesecake, some areas were 2:1, crust being dominant. I think if less crust was used, the need for more butter would be a thing of the past. The crust was a bit dry and crumbly but the baker had warned me about this before he dropped it off.
Cutting into the cheesecake was also interesting as it wasn't a smooth cut, the cake kind of broke apart into pieces when inserting the knife into it to slice it up, which was just because of the dry crust and the crust being well packed.
The cheesecake was good, it wasn't the velvety smooth cheesecake I'm used to, it [almost] had an overwhipped whipped cream texture, but it was good nonetheless. It wasn't too sweet or rich, the pecans were a rewarding treat on top with the brown sugar they were bathing in. Everyone was very drunk when they had their slice so they all enjoyed it quite well, I unfortunately have an issue with the way my body absorbs alcohol, I don't get drunk, so this review was based on a sober experience.
I am curious about trying some of the other cheesecakes this baker is capable of making, as the other people whom have ordered them gave them all 5 stars and said they were amazing. I would order from this...
Read moreSo I was told 3 days before my sweethearts birthday that his favorite was cheese cake. So I frantically looked all over online for the best cheese cake around. When I first saw this place I was estactic by the good reviews. So I called right away. The baker answered right away and was so friendly and helpful. He gave a warmth to the conversation with his bubbly personality. I really enjoyed the professionalism and friendliness. He reassure that all could be ready for the day of my sweetheart birthday if not sooner. Then next day in I was notified that my strawberry cheesecake was ready. I was so happy. So I left right away to pick it up. I took my sweetheart with me and when we arrived I got to hand the beautiful cake to him. He was so shocked that he literally cried on the spot. We both were so amazed at how stunning the big cheese cake was. You definitely get your money's worth if now more. The attention to details and taste was nothing to be compared to. Literally each bite was so silky and flavor enriched that it makes you yearn for another bite. Truly the baker is literally a true mater of his craft. The big cake only lasted 3 days between the 2 of us. It was just that divine. I will have to say I highly recommend this baker and do say save his number like I did, because you will want to come back and order again. Thank you so much for the outstanding craftmanship of such a delicious treat and amazing service. I will always highly recommend you to any one I...
Read moreAfter being disappointed by other options, I contacted The Cheesecake Baker on a Sunday evening. I discovered them through a Google search and was excited to learn that they make fresh cheesecake to order. Despite their website stating that they were closed on Sundays, I decided to email them anyway. To my surprise, they responded within an hour and informed me that I could pick up my cheesecake shortly.
When I arrived at the bakery, which is located at a private residence, I found the owner to be friendly and helpful. My husband and I eagerly tried the cheesecake and were delighted by its creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced taste. The Cheesecake Baker exceeded our expectations. We opted for the classic NY flavor, but they also offer a Brooklyn style option.
From now on, we have decided to order our cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Baker for all our gatherings, birthdays, and celebrations. Supporting a small local business in our community adds to the satisfaction of the experience. As a self-proclaimed snobby foodie, I wholeheartedly endorse The Cheesecake Baker's offerings. They are truly the real deal! I highly recommend giving them a call to place an order. The cheesecake we purchased was priced at $40, and most of their cheesecakes range from $40 to $60 for a generous 9-inch round size. Just a tip, their residence is located in the northwest area near Washington and Rainbow. Despite driving 30 minutes to get there, I have...
