We invited guests to join us for a beautiful Saturday afternoon. They hadnât really been to Ciscos before and we had hyped it up. We arrived at 3:30 on time for our reservation at a high top in the bar area. We were seated on time. It wasnât overly busy. Great acoustic guitarist playing. We felt pretty much forgotten. It took a good 5 minutes for a server to arrive. We ordered while we waited for our guests who were parking. We ordered a simple bottle of wine and a cocktail from the specials menu. Our server disappeared. Out guests arrived and sat. Another 5-10 minutes went byâŚtumbleweeds. They even commented on where our server was. She finally showed with the bottle and the beverage. I joked âhey, we thought you forgot us,â thinking this would make her more attentive for the visitâŚdidnât work. She replied that there was a âbackup at the bar.â Okay. Excuse #1. Our guests ordered and she came back with drinks fairly quickly. We ordered some apps. They came out quickly but it was a âdrop and run.â No one asked us if we needed anything elseâŚone of our guests was hoping for some sour cream for the nachos. Our server couldnât be found. We flagged someone else down to bring us the extra condiment and they brought it. We finished, not necessarily in a rush. But, again, a lack of attentiveness. Our server never stopped in to ask how we were doing or how we were enjoying our apps ⌠which we really were. Ultimately, we saw our server again and we placed our orders. Three from the regular menu and a sushi. The three meals came out quickly, and again it was a âdrop and run,â with no one asking if we needed anything and, the sushi was not there. Minutes went by and no server again. I wanted some condiments for my burger and felt badly for our guest waiting on her sushi. I literally got up and found our server near the kitchen and asked her to attend to our table. I told her that I felt there was a real lack of attentiveness going on here. I asked about the sushi and got another excuse about how it comes from a different kitchen. Câmon? You canât time this properly? Thatâs acceptable? But, after complaining to her about a lack of attentiveness the sushi and extra condiments appeared. They cleaned off the table and she asked if we wanted anything else. I replied, âsure, another glass of wine.â You think after all of the clues and me calling her out on the lack of attentiveness this would appear very quickly, butâŚnot. It was a slow delivery again. She provided us with the check and we paid never to see her again. The food was excellent and weâll be back because we love it there, but this was a very disappointing experience on a somewhat slower mid-afternoon. I hope this is a teaching moment for Servedwell Hospitality because the lack of service was disappointing and left a bad impression...
Read morelet me start off by saying my server, Kelsey was amazing. She was absolutely not the problem. However, what I will say is that NEVER in my 29 years of life have I ever felt the need to leave a review after eating out. But this was unbelievable. Where do I even begin?? We had a 4:15 reservation. The restaurant was basically empty, Adam (the host or manager who knows) was so unapproachable. He sat us at a table 3ft away from his host stand, 6in away from the front door, & in a totally separated & completely empty room. When we had asked to move, the manager was ready to help us. Instead, as we were in the process of moving, Adam yelled for the manager as we walked by and said âyeah letâs not do thatâ So, as we could see he was very visibly frustrated with us asking to move, we sucked it up & said can u at least move us a little bit away from the door?? He said yeah thatâs no problem. Guess where we moved?? The table over. My entire Valentineâs Day dinner was basically had with the hosts, and the servers. We were basically sat in the server station. They even ate with us! It was to the point that I knew to â86 the oodieâ âthe restaurant is fully booked starting at 530â âone of the servers is a total catchâ the list goes on⌠Now letâs not mention the NUMEROUS people who came in after us (walks ins not reservations) were all sat in the regular dining area while we still sat totally secluded. Not to mention, Adam told the walk-ins âyou need to eat in less than an hr, I need u out by 530â but WE HAD A RESERVATION so they can sit where everyone else was, but it was a problem when we asked??? We were freezing the entire time from being so close to the door, the food was less than mediocre, & i have NEVER felt more uncomfortable in a restaurant before in my life. From sitting in the server station, the attitudes, the multiple eyes staring at us as we ate, the uncomfortableness, it was awful. I had to continuously keep making jokes about it because of how flabbergasted I was. I couldnât believe this was the relaxing valentineâs day dinner I had planned lol the picture attached is actually the only time there was only 5 ppl standing near us. Every other time there were several more. Bottom line, this was easily the worst restaurant experience that I have ever had. I guess Cisco can only pull it together...
Read moreWe were with a large group (23 people). One person in the party did call around noon to give a heads up that we would be coming in. The outdoor doesnât open up until 4:00 pm. The manager Carly, was INCREDIBLY rude and her approach was horrendous. There was a few people seated at the bar and we had 3 high top tables behind the bar. Since we were all together, some people were mingling between the bar or tables. The manager Carly came over, never introduced herself but told us that everyone needed to be seated, we could not move and that a new waitress would be coming in 20 minutes so not to order anything else until that waitress arrived. We had already ordered one round of drinks and a few appetizers at this point. The place was not packed, there was only 1 table in the dining area inside and there were 4 other high tops open so Iâm not sure why the hostility towards us. Frankly, as someone who has worked in hospitality I was shocked that she was so unprofessional towards a large group of people. She really should have just brought our check and told us to leave because thatâs how we were made to feel, completely not welcomed. There were also other patrons at the bar who caught the interaction while chatting with our group and left because they felt so uncomfortable with the way she approached us. To be a manager of such a large establishment is no easy task but Cisco really should get this young lady some training in customer service.. she could have used a different approach and it would have been an entirely different conversation. We will be going elsewhere in the future due to the interaction we had with her.
If you have a large group, I recommend not visiting Cisco unless you know for sure that the outdoor area is open.
Our waitress, Allison, was EXTREMELY hospitable. She was kind and very responsive. If it wasnât for her kindness and humor we all would have left right after that conversation with the manager. Allison had most of the tables and there was only one bartender so shame on the manager for using her authority to harass customers instead of being a team player and helping the staff. We had BBQ nachos and sushi and the...
