Probably one of the most disappointing restaurants I've been to in a long time.
Where to start, the appetizer I ordered was served with the center still frozen. Which I informed my waitress of, she asked if I'd like them to make another order, and I politely asked it be removed from my order and was not interested in another order. Although I didn't mentioned it aloud, I feared the next ones would more than likely be served over cooked.
When my sandwich (a club) was served, it was something I feel most places would have been ashamed to serve a customer. Cold ham from the fridge with warm bacon didn't make a for a great contrast in the meats. The cheese used was what I'm assuming was the cheapest processed slices available from the local grocery store. To top the whole sandwich off the bread was dry and burnt (in a toaster) and was of what I am again assuming was the cheapest generic sliced bread available at the time.
Athough the restaurant seemed very well staffed, while I was there the waitress was inattentive at best and had an attitude like she didn't want to be there and couldn't be bothered. When it was time to pay my bill only a mere $1 was removed for my frozen appetizer which I eat but one bite of.
I read other reviews and found this place to be highly recommend by others and perhaps something has changed between then and now. I truly hope someone from either upper level management or an owner sees this review and looks into makeing some serious changes because what I experienced today is completely unacceptable in the food...
Read moreFirst time customer. Well, attempted customer. I've lived in the area for a few years now, and finally decided to stop in.
That was a bust. First time there, I walked in. No signs telling you to seat yourself or to wait, so I waited. One of the three waitresses comes over towards me, cell phone between her shoulder and ear. Puts away the coloring books that she had in her hands (I had to step back a step, she literally had to go exactly where I was standing.)
She walked away without even looking at me.
2 minutes later, one of the other waitresses looks at me and says "What do you....?"
I said I hadn't been there before, was I to seat myself? She just says yeah.
I sat down for 3 minutes.... There's three waitresses and five tables occupied.
3 minutes later, they hadn't asked if I wanted a drink or anything, no contact whatsoever.
I walked out, went a block down to the grocery store and grabbed a pound of bacon and a loaf of bread. I have eggs at home.
You may say I'm jumping the gun, but if this is the first five minutes, what would the rest of my visit be like?
Disappointed. I've worked for tips and these young ladies would have been compensated well enough for their services. And if I had had a good experience, I would probably be there at least once a month. I might give them a try in another 4 years, but as of now... I'll just keep making...

So needless to say it took longer than we anticipated to get our food and even our check at the end. I was kind of disappointed in what I got, but everyone else's breakfast was good. I feel bad because everyone's hurting for employees, so it's not really their fault that they didn't have enough help ya know. But at the same time I felt like people should be prepared that it's like of a wait now.
This was the first time I've been here since they moved to this new location. I had with me family members that have never been there before at all. We were all VERY impressed with the inexpensive prices, the quantity of food for the price, and the quality of the food! Our food arrived quickly, everything fresh & hot. Their pancakes were FABULOUS!!! I'll definitely go again if/when I'm back...
