Recently it has become hard to get a good donut in Ashland, KY. Someone told us about Scent From Heaven Bakery in New Boston, OH, and we took the drive to give them a try. After just one visit I can say with confidence that this bakery has our business from now on. The customer service is top notch, very friendly. We had never been there before so our server took the time to tell us about all the different choices available and even offered a few suggestions for what is really good (HINT - try the cream filled maple and bacon long johns, theyâre awesome!). The donuts here are truly fantastic and they have a much greater selection than Iâve found at other places, all of your old favorites, and quite a few new ones as well, some with fruit or cream fillings, and those in choices of icing, powdered sugar, or glazed, just to name a few. They have a light and creamy, fluffy like taste and texture, too, very fresh. Itâs worth the drive to get donuts of...
Read moreWalked in there for the first time the other day last year and I was looking around just to see what they sell. I loved their atmosphere but unfortunately their attitudes were not good when they were in the back, away from the front counter.
The place isn't very big, so if someone's loudly talking in the back, a customer can hear it. They were loudly talking to each other, making bi-polar jokes in a very not good humor. I ended up walking out and never going in there again.
It's a nice business, but they need to be careful what they talk about loudly away from customers. Another customer could've easily walked in and had a family member with them that is diagnosed with bi-polar, or cancer, or autism, or ADHD, etc.
Crispie Creme donuts has my vote. To me, it doesn't matter how well people can sell a product. If the seller is foul-acting, I take my vote, time and...
Read moreGood donughts, unfortunately they are horrible business people. unless you are there by 7 a.m. forget it, it's happened so many times to so many people that that's pretty much what they're known for. not to mention they're closed on Sundays when most people are off from work lol so who knows. They obviously have more money than they know what to do with or they would change which they are not willing to do. the real bad part about it is when you get down there you will see a 20 boxes of donuts that people have pre ordered that morning and you will ask them if they can make more they will basically laugh at you lol so we've talked to an ex employee who knows how to make their donuts we are officially going to open up a shop a block or two from them and show them how its done. and the person that is getting involved in this adventure owns several fast...
