NB Donuts — Restaurant in New Braunfels

The donut craving were hitting terribly, and this was highly rated so we decided to come here and we did not leave disappointed! We had just learned that NB has a thing for Blueberry Cake Donuts, and I am still thinking about it! We normally aren’t cake donut people, but there was something about this one that was perfection. It wasn’t dry and none of their donuts were abnormally and annoyingly sweet! The apple fritter was a little too doughy and the ratio with he apples were a little off because I couldn’t really taste or see the apples, but the texture was so good. The edges were crispy while the middle was fluffy. The Glazed Donut and Donut Holes were the deciding factor if we were going to like this place, and when I tell you that they didn’t make it out of the parking lot… they were devoured while we sat in our car. The Jalapeño Cheddar Kolache was good, but the Ham & Cheese was a miss..

Best donut shop in town, was so excited when they expanded over here. We go every weekend/every other weekend, there’s no where else we can go! Everywhere else the donuts are greasy and gross, here they are fresh and delicious every time! So kind too, very generous always give my son donut holes when he is with me when I order, love their other location too, but glad this one opened its much closer and it means we can go more often! Searching for the ultimate jalapeño kolache in town, this place was recommended to me by my son. Great selection of kolaches with TWO SIZES of kolaches.!!!! The jalapeño kolaches have jalapeño sausage in them and are quite tasty without being too spicy for normal people. I got 2 large kolaches and they hit the spot perfectly.
