Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in New Britain Township

I haven't had a Manhattan bagel in probably 20 years. I was so excited when I got the bagel I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It was the most amazing breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten they taste just the same as they did when it twenty years ago and I got them. I used to go to the one in Palmer township everyday before work I got a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel. If you want a specific bagel make sure you go early they do sell out. And they do close early afternoon. I highly recommend Manhattan bagel so soft they don't hurt your teeth and everything is perfect I think I might be going down towards that Manhattan bagel I'll call ahead have them make it and it'll be fine when I get there I will say the price is most definitely went up I believe I paid $7.50 that's the only downfall very expensive but no...

Stopped to get a sandwhich on my way to work and when I got to the counter the man asked if I wanted a bagel or sandwhich and I asked for a ham egg and cheese sandwhich on a thin multigrain bagel and he immediately cut me off and said okay and put down his pen before I was done speaking and adding my tomatoes and mayo and spinach on my sandwhich. After correcting him how I wasn’t done my order he hurried me away when there was no line and this whole time did not look at me once it was horrible customer service. After I stepped to the side to pay he told the cook making the eggs that she needed to spray the holders so they don’t stick to which she yelled “well no shit you think I don’t know that”. Very unprofessional environment and horrible way to start my day. I usually go to another location which is always very kind...

The ONLY thing keeping this Manhattan Bagel location from five stars is that it seems to take ten minutes minimum for your food. Now I understand and appreciate that everything is cooked fresh on a griddle and not microwaved, but there doesn't seem to be a dedicated grill person to speed things up. Most, if not all, the workers behind the counter are teenagers and sometimes it takes a minute or two to get your order taken. Other than that, if I'm getting breakfast out I come here. It's well worth the wait.

The food is delicious and they've never gotten any of my orders messed up. The coffee is great too, I always get the Hazelnut Mocha Latte. I can't say anything about their lunch because I've never tried it.
