Ordered delivery on grubhub. I ordered 2 orders of empanadas de mole amarillo con pollo, 1 guacamole w/chips, and 1 agua fresca. When the order arrived it only had 1 order of empanadas. I called and explained what happened. They said ok, they would take care of it. An HOUR later I got a call from them asking if I was still going to pick up my order. I said I had ordered delivery on grubhub because I was at work and that I had only gotten part of my order and needed to have it delivered. They said that it was too far and wouldn't deliver it and that I needed to pay for my order. I said that I had already been charged for 2 orders of empanadas. She said that I had only ordered 1 and that I would have to pick it up myself and pay for it. I'm looking at my grubhub receipt and and seeing that I was charged for 2. The woman on the phone was very rude, insisted that I was wrong, and kept talking over me. I said to let me speak and she hung up on me. The restaurant decor here is lovely! Came here for breakfast for the first time and I got the chilaquiles with an egg (you can add meat) with a red sauce. Some of the best I've had. My boyfriend got the enfrijoladas and he liked his dish as well. We came here around 10am on a Saturday and it wasn't that busy. The prices are also reasonable. I will be back to try other items from the menu!

I think this place is not visited or reviewed often enough. Though I'm hardly an expert in Mexican cuisine, I will vouch for delicioius food when I have it. And La Hacienda is a large, colorful space, decorated with Mexican everything. Not your typical hole in the wall. I've had chicken mole' twice -- wonderful -- they make it the sauce themselves from scratch. Apparently, the homemade tamales are the biggest hit. I was told that most of the traffic is take out.
