From the outside it looks really nice. They have plenty of parking. I love the lighting and decor inside. They had plenty of signs in regards to the pandemic, you even have to wait for a host. All staff had on mask and I did see them disinfecting the tables. We we're seated right away party of 2 on a Friday night. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. They do have bar seating as well. They also have sanitizer available. The layout is very spacious so you are not on top of other customers.

The beer was just ok, nothing too special. Nothing I would go out of my way for. The service was absolutely terrible. We barely even seen our waitress besides to order the food and for the check. I even asked for hot sauce and she never brought it. We even tried to wave her down and they were not even busy. She never checked on us how the food was, if we needed anything, including more beer? My friend and I were going to try the flight, but again she never came back to our table.

The appetizers were just ok 3/5. We tried Black Beard's Pretzels with Zesty House-Ale Pub Cheese. The Zesty House-Ale Pub Cheese was interesting. You can taste the ‘zestyness’. It would be really good with crackers: the second appetizer we tried was their jumbo wings, “Let's Get Saucy”. We ordered the wings grilled in their Ghost Isle BBQ sauce. This was my first time trying grilled wings and it was actually good. The BBQ sauce was good!

Our dinner was delicious. If I only tried the dinner I would have gave them a 5/5, but you go to brewery for beer. When a brewery has their own food it is a bonus. The fries were my fav, so thin and crunchy!! My friend ordered their sandwich Special “The A.L.T.ernator”. She said it was so delicious and the bacon was so good! The sandwich is Avocado • Lettuce • Tomato • Cucumber • Red Onion • Sprouted Grain Bread with fries! I ordered their, Wall-Eye's On me entree. This meal was also so delicious and cooked perfectly! It was lightly dusted and came with good tartar sauce! If the waitress stopped by I would have asked if the tartar sauce is made there because it tasted different to me than tartar I’ve tried before!

Overall, I had such a bad personal experience with beer, food and service! You are not missing much if you skip coming here. I do recommend stopping for dinner and just need a decent beer to go with the meal or I also recommend ordering the flight if it is your...

My party (3 people) and I came to New Buffalo, Mi. just to try Ghost Isle Brewery for a birthday. Overall, this experience was not for me: 4/10. We arrived shortly after 5pm and we stayed until almost 7pm. The ease of finding parking and handicap accessibility was magnificent. Nobody in my party is handicapped. however, knowing this is an option is wonderful. The atmosphere and cleanliness of both the tables and bathrooms were not first noticeable. However with the grates tables and chair, they are noticeable between the planks. It was busy the entire time we were here, and they could definitely use more staff. The staff they did have was kind and friendly. Practically the only redeeming factor outside the atmosphere. The wait for drinks orders was ok. The drinks we received were good. The beer we received wasn't anything to clamor about, it was decent: 6/10. I disliked that they brought out our entrees at separate times. When they brought out two of the three out, the server did not mention anything to the third person. We waited 10 minutes before asking our waiter if their order was coming, all while not eating our own in hopes theirs will be out soon. Our server comes back to tell us that our ticket must have gotten thrown out and he placed another order in for their entree. Another few minutes goes by, and a different server brings out their entree. It looked magnificent and smelled wonderful. All the while during this time, I only ordered water to drink, and finished it before I finished my food. Not once did they ask me for a refill, I was able to ask for a refill as they came over to see if we needed to go boxes... It was just not timely at all, the food I received; prime rib sandwich, tasted like onions on bread. The fries tasted like batter and oil. It was just not a good trip in my experience. Especially since we saw such good food online, to only come for this - was a waste of gas in my view. We traveled from the west side of Illinois, nearly a 4 hour trip just for this. Thank you to our server, Joshua, and the host who sat us, and those in the kitchen. Enjoy the rest of your day. But you won't...

Where do I begin? There were 9 of us, so we expected a little bit of a wait. They tried putting two small tables together that looked like it would seat 6. We said we would need more room than that. They pushed two larger tables together and it fit us perfectly. It was so loud, it was almost unbearable. The prices are quite high. Two couples ordered flights of beer. One flight had a wrong beer and the waitress argued that a beer that didn't mention coffee at all was supposed to taste like coffee. Before the other couple even finished drinking their beer, the waitress came up and took the tray. The food was horrendous. The fries were greasy and barely room temperature. The bbq sauce on the pulled pork was disgusting. The fish sandwich had no flavoring at all. The chips and "caramelized onion dip" tasted like a mouth full of sour cream with a hint of onion. Worst of all was the Philly steak and cheese came to the table with no cheese. The person that brought it to the table said Philly steak with no cheese, like it was ordered that way. We said that she didn't say no cheese. Our waitress Rebecca first said it doesn't come with cheese. Really? A Philly steak and cheese doesn't come with cheese? Then she said they were out of cheese. Well, that should have been mentioned before finishing the order. The woman that brought the food out walked over and said she would get some cheese on it for her. So she ended up with Swiss cheese, but it was better than nothing. They add an automatic 20% gratuity for groups over 6. Normally we would be just fine with that, but not when the service is terrible. We will NEVER go back to that place. I recommend finding somewhere else to go, but if you do go, good luck and be prepared to stop somewhere else for food. And before I get the seemingly common "nobody complained" response, we didn't have time for 7 out of 9 meals to be "fixed". When you charge the prices you do, nobody should have to complain, it should be right...

Sub-par. I’m not a beer drinker, so we’ll get that out of the way first. I did how ever have the house cocktail. Tasted like a mock tail and wasn’t interested in a second one, however many times I was offered by people who weren’t my server. I do recommend the pretzel app but not with the whipped cheese spread. It’s not really made for sharing which is weird for an appetizer. A more dip-like cheese would be better or serve the same one in a larger quantity with a knife for serving. This was the saddest excuse for a “Philly Cheese Steak” i’ve ever had. It was basically an italian beef with lite meat and government cheese. I was coughing so bad on the first bite that a nearby server (not my server) asked if I needed water. My partner got the full rack of dry rub ribs. I understand that they were “dry rub” but these were a sad sack of ribs. Might has well given him a pile of roadkill. The only positive of the night was our waitress Olivia. She’s a gem, and is meant for bigger things. She’s the only reason I’m giving more than 1 star.
