I stumbled upon Goldberry when I first started looking for places semi-local to elope with my husband. 🥺 I discovered these guys and I am SO GLAD I did!
I would choose them again a million times!
We stayed with them for four days, three nights and they coordinated our elopement that went so perfectly I couldn’t pick a single thing I wish was different!
We had a five year engagement... honestly because I just didn’t know what I was doing and the thought of a big wedding terrified me... but Julie and Eric made planning and ironing out the details of our day SO EASY. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, the way they decorated and the barn!!! Omg the BARN!!! 😍 I am just so, so, so happy we decided to elope with Goldberry Woods!
I could stop there... but I haven’t talked about our stay at the B&B!!!!
Clean, comfortable, we felt SO at home! The beds are SO cool and being able to laze around in the jacuzzi tub while the fireplace flickers... the romance!!!!
But wait... BREAKFAST. Y’all.... the food is exquisite. Gourmet breakfasts every morning delivered right to our door. The food. was so. damn. good!!! And they know all the good places around to get good foods!
We spent our wedding night dinner in an igloo at the restaurant down the road at their recommendation and it was just phenomenal. Such a wonderful day start to finish!!!
We didn’t even get to scratch the surface of all of the cool things to explore both on the property and the local area so we’ve definitely decided that we need to make visiting Goldberry an annual trip, if not an annual date trip and a summer vacation with the family as well!
Thank you, Julie, Eric (and staff!) for everything and making our weekend and elopement day go so perfectly.

Read moreOur family rented the entire inn in late July and it was a fantastic stay. The rooms were very good, each had its own full bathroom with jacuzzi / shower and TV. The house was spacious and it was a great size for our family. On the property was plenty to do - swimming pools, bags sets, volleyball, kayaks, etc. It was a nice quiet vacation spot. Pro's: Fairly reasonably priced in comparison of similar houses in the area to rent spacious house GREAT customer service - owners answered calls and was very accommodating Provided basics for the kitchen - salt, pepper, oils, napkins, utensils, etc Pool was close by, semi heated and clean Farm fresh vegetables and eggs onsite to buy Very close to New Buffalo which had shops, beach, restaurants, farmers markets, etc Close to blueberry picking and other beaches
Cons (and this is me nitpicking) the beds were kind of small and loud. When you moved in the bed they creaked. Also I am used to king size beds and double or queen was very small the jacuzzi / showers were awkward and VERY hard to get in and out of. They did have a shower on the first floor that was more accessible. We never used the jacuzzi's so it just made it an awkward shower The suites off the kitchen were nice because they had a spare bed in the back room but the bathroom space was tiny, pedestal sinks with limited to no storage - made it hard to share a room. We eventually switched to the rooms upstairs which were much nicer and bigger and had more space.
Overall it was a great visit and we likely return...
Read moreI’m absolutely in love with Goldberry Farms. My boyfriend surprised me with an overnight getaway because we’ve both been so busy with work, and this place did not disappoint. It was one of his first B&B experiences and now he’s obsessed too. I already love a cozy B&B in the woods, but this one was just wow.
Our room was huge, super private, and the bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The bathtub was amazing, it fit both of us comfortably and we’re both tall! We had our own deck, and everything just felt so peaceful and intentional. The grounds were stunning, all the plants and foliage were beautiful, and I loved how they protected native species. The hiking trails were such a cool surprise too, especially the little art installations throughout.
The people running the place were the sweetest. I’m vegan for health reasons and they took it so seriously, which meant a lot to me. They even had oat milk creamer at the coffee station and the breakfast was super thoughtful. Also, there was a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for me in the room and I almost cried, it was such a sweet touch.
We didn’t even get to use the pool, but it looked amazing, heated, huge, and private. I told my partner as we were leaving, this is officially our spot. We’re already planning to come back when everything’s in bloom. 12/10, seriously can’t...
