Lido Cottage Beach House — Hotel in New Buffalo Township

Our Lido Cottage getaway was perfection! The cottage was so clean, so quiet, and so convenient. There was a super fun bonfire area, a private hot tub, two full baths and a lovely back porch swing. We were able to bike to a restaurant for some delicious paella, and saw the sun set over Lake Michigan via a quick little drive. The best steak we had was at Skip's, which was right down the road from Lido. We also cooked in, as the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for a fab cookout, after a quick stop at the grocer nearby. The cottage is located very near New Buffalo, where all the wineries are located. We had plenty of room in the 3 bedroom cottage, and would love to visit again with friends. Our family recently stayed the weekend at Lido and it was perfection! The house was spacious and clean, yet cozy with all the small touches that made this truly a relaxing getaway. The firepit in the back was perfect for s'mores and the screened in porch was just the spot for a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning before heading out for the day. Conveniently located a short walk to downtown Union Pier as well as the most picturesque beach. Loads of activities nearby for the family (think fall fests & apple picking) as well as for the adults (a local winery which is also kid-friendly & a delicious steakhouse). This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway!! It is very clean, updated and cozy like it’s your own home. The 2 story family room brings in tons of natural light all day long. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary cookware and appliances. The large island made it a great space for my friends and I to hangout and chat. The backyard has a fire pit and hot tub so there are plenty of things to do outdoor. A quick 10-15 minute walk will get you to a cute coffee shop and the beautiful lake front with breathtaking views!!
