Ali’s Upper Crust — Restaurant in New Castle

Update: Philly Cheese Steak is the best I've had anywhere. I'm used to never getting enough beef or steak. Not here. For $13.90 out the door, it's a pizza oven baked crusty roll juicy beef with provolone, cheddar, onions, and grilled pepper rings sammy that I know I was full after eating half. Wife said best sandwich she had ever. Buy one and split it. Take it home, eat half, next day wrap the other half in foil put in a 300 oven for 20-30 minutes and it's even better. Pics of this I am very happy with, it really is that great!

Ali's Upper Crust is finally the pizza I've been looking for in New Castle for the last two years, and it's just down the street from me. I'm from the Youngstown area originally, and like a yeast raised dough for a crust that has some chew to it, and Ali's has a great crust, perfectly cooked. The sauce is just right, not too tangy or sweet, but it's still got a great taste that comes right out. The cheese they use is actually a great tasting buttery one that they don't skimp on. I ordered pepperoni , which is sliced thin, and covers the pie. This allows the pepperoni to get fully heated up and release its flavor. I also like being able to get my pizza browned to the desired brown. Also, brown the cheese and the edge of the crust.

Overall this is without a doubt the best pizza in New Castle. I think it's as good as Uptown in Youngstown and Nicky's in Campbell. And it's right up there with Cornersburg, Belleria, and Cocca's. I definitely can stop driving to Youngstown every time I want pizza now. The folks at Ali's are really truly customer focused. Is it ok? We wanted to make sure we browned it right for you. Just great service. It's located right on Highland ave., easy parking, the entrance is on the far right when you park. Again, EASILY the best tasting pizza, with easily easily, the best crust around New Castle. And it took nearly two years for me to try it. But, even if this place was the first I tried, I'd have still gone to all the others. This way, I don't have to. It's Ali's pizza every time...

I came in here the other day and met the nice lady working there (unfortunately, I can't remember a name) she was so incredibly kind the minute I walked in. She told me it would be quite the wait for it was just her working. I decided to wait the couple minutes she asked for, and it was well worth it. I got a Stromboli, a personal pizza, and a cheesesteak, and everyone loved the food and wanted more once we were done eating. I'm from Philadelphia, and you would never find such great services and amazing food!! Thank you again. You'll be seeing me on my next visit...

Nicest people you'd ever want serving you delicious food! Honestly, I can't stop ordering their rigatoni! The meatballs are absolutely delicious and they probably have the best sauce around! Do yourself a favor and drop by Ali's Upper Crust. They DO NOT skimp on any ingredients or amount of food you get. Worth every cent....
