RADWICK's Store — Restaurant in New Hartford

Just my luck. If somebody is someday going to get a pepper stem in a sandwich it's me. But, care and eyes-open prep says a lot about a place and can avoid this. Heard lots of great things about Radwicks sandwiches. Stopped and got one. Got a $10.00 Roast Beef & Swiss grinder. A little expensive but a great grinder. Flavor was great, tenderness was outstanding, bun was fresh & flavorful in itself! Experience was great until the onion that was sliced too close to the skin. Slid out and slapped my chin. Was not chewable. Most of the Roast Beef was Bores Head quality but you know that uncutable slag that piles up on the meat slicer for 8 to 10 slices and then comes off with piece 11.... I stopped in this fine little deli this morning and picked up an Italian combination sandwich with everything they normally add on minus the mustard. The sandwich was good. The older gentleman is really on his game and seemed to be training his younger protege… Even when you tell them, you’ll have everything on there, they still verify you want the peppers, including the hot peppers, which is good. They have lots of other good options here and place a small store attached as well. I have been meaning to stop here for quite some time, and I’m glad I finally did it. I have been stopping at Radwicks since he opened up and I have never been disappointed! The food is fresh and delicious, owner is always friendly and so is his crew! For a small business with such excellent service, the prices are absolutely fair! He always has the coolest selection of chips to go with your sandwiches! 10/10 A MUST STOP AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!
