Willard Varsity Club sports bar & grille - Willard, OH — Restaurant in New Haven Township

Stop at 6.15 pm 9 29 24,3 people at bar and 2 people at a booth. Booth we sat at was all sticky,the waitress wiped it off while we sat there. Ordered 2 waters and she gave us 2 menu and walked off. One other couple walked in and sat at a table. Then about 8 people walk in and sat down at a table. Waitress walked over and took all 8 of their drinks orders,then went to the bar and made every one of there drinks one at a time. The drink making took at least 15 to 20 minutes. Then our waitress walks over and takes all the 8 peoples order for food while my wife and I wait with the other couple, that walked in after us. There were two other people working in there coming in and out of the back but didn't seem to care about customers waiting. And in between on the waitress was making the drinks she cashed out a lady picking up a pizza. At 6.48 pm my wife and I walked out along with the older couple that came in after us. Last time we ordered we ordered on their burger night and all the burgers were well done and not made right with the toppings. So we ordered again today to give them the chance to correct their mistake. Well, it was totally disappointing. Food was burnt black, burger was way over cooked, philly had meat on half only, rueben had meat on half only. And everything tasted like it was a week old. When it was brought to their attention, the owner said she checked the food herself before it went out of the building. If thats the case, lady you have no reason to be in food service. This food should have never been put into a box and packaged up for anyone. It should have went atraight into the trash!! The owner also told us if we didnt like it take our business elsewhere, not a problem. We didnt just pay 60 bucks for food to not be able to eat it. The worst service and food we have ever had, period!!! Dont worry, we wont be back. I hope no one else gets treated...

I knew it would be a bad experience from the time we got seated. The hostess threw the menus on the table and walked away from us without saying a word. My daughter ordered mini corn dogs and wanted lemonad . We were told up front they were out of lemonad . The table behind us who ordered about 15 minutes after us got their food before we even got our appetizer. The waitress finally brought it out and then informed us they were out of corn dogs. My daughter then ordered something else and we finally got our food. My wings were dried out and not good. My boyfriends food was bland. The table beside us had a pizza that they had to send back because it wasn't cooked all the way. The only good part of the whole experience was the waitress.
