Culver’s — Restaurant in New Haven

this culver’s location sucks which means you have to drive past to to get some decent service on stellhorn. we had a curbside pickup friday night. i got there 5 mins after it said my food was supposed to be done i clicked here in my app and waited. then 2 people come out with 2 humongous bags and the other person had 8 drinks. i explained that was definitely not my order i only had 3 VB with 2 cokes and a dr pepper. (don’t know how you can take the wrong order to the wrong car when i’m the only person in curbside and when the make and model AND color of the car is written on the bag), a few mins later someone comes out with my one bag and no drinks. i told him we had some drinks we were missing and asked to read the receipt and he then said the drinks didn’t say on it so he went back inside,, while he was gone i took some time to read the receipt, it says VB at the top then lists the sandwich you got the side and the drink at the bottom i genuinely have no clue how he just like forgot to comprehend what he was reading when he had it in his hands reading it. he then came back to ask us what drinks we wanted and then i showed him the receipt where it says our drinks he took it and went BACK inside and then he comes out with ONE coke and ONE dr pepper. jesus christ 🤦‍♀️ told the guy we were still missing a drink off of the receipt that he literally took inside WITH HIM. i got a “oh my god!” from him as if this literally isn’t his fault cause he can’t read a simple receipt. if there was an issue with my customer at my job i’d be looking over everything to get it right the first time these were really just careless mistakes. my past 2 orders i’ve had to wait 15 mins PAST the time it said my food would be ready by (so that’s why i came later this most recent trip) this isn’t the first time i’ve had just an awful experience at this store. definitely go through the drive thru or dine in if you go here curbside/online ordering has been a nightmare every....

I ordered online from my work 5 min down the road. App said the order would be done in 8 min. I ordered 2 chicken tenders and a small vanilla shake. Finished something at work then left few minutes later, got to the drive through 3 min after the app said it would be done. Told them I placed an online order for curbside or drive thru. He said I needed to come inside. I replied so that's where the curbside is? Yes. Ok I go inside, there is total of 3 people waiting to order, 2 people waiting on orders they placed there inside, and 1 couple in front of me waiting on an online order. They get their food, the 2 people waiting got theirs, and 2 of the 3 that ordered. While in standing there waiting after the guy asked my name and another employee comes inside with my order and asks the guy behind the counter where an Erik S is. Well wouldn't you know it she went to the curb where I ordered it for while goofy is pacing back and forth picking up napkins and random items to try and look busy. Big lack of communication I saw, not just with my order either. I get it they recently opened so they are working out their kinks. So I'll give em another shot for sure. Everything still...

0/10 problem solving skills. This is my first time at this NEW location but not my first time getting Culver’s. Me and my son get Culver’s on stellhorn OFTEN and never have issues. Today I went through the drive thru at this new location on maplecrest and I asked for cheese for my onion rings and the young lady asked me how would I like the cheese to come in, and I relied “in anything but a plastic cup because HOT cheese in a plastic cup doesn’t make sense to me.” She then said that the plastic cups are the only thing they can put them in which is very concerning. The stellhorn location puts my cheese in an ice cream cup which is way more reasonable for HOT cheeese. So I never got my hot cheese lol because they couldn’t figure out how else to put hot cheese.
