Skyway Pizza — Restaurant in New Johnsonville

The Pizza was good as always, but the whole point of going to a bowling alley is to bowl. If I just wanted pizza I could have got that in town. The group I brought in didn't appreciate being offered to bowl before we were ready and then not being able to after we ate. There were several people in there working and it really wasn't that busy. No excuse to not be running the lanes. We won't be back.

Update: Had we been informed ahead of time that we would not have been able to bowl unless it was at 3:00 exactly, we would have chosen to take our business elsewhere to begin with. We in fact were NOT informed ahead of time that there was going to be any issues with the bowling if we didn't do bowling at exactly 3 - but was told that bowling was only in "the afternoon" which I didn't think afternoon ended at that exact time when you only open at 2. We were in there at 2:45 pm for the suggested 3pm party. We had hoped to do 5 pm to start but that was not an option. I was quite put off and offended at the implication that we needed to go ahead and bowl right away before we were ready or had even eaten. We were told this only AFTER we already ordered pizza. Then we were told to bowl and then eat our pizza cold. No one informed us that this was the situation ahead of time. Maybe the people who were in charge of the place -yelling loudly with one saying they could run the whole thing without the other- might actually...

We were told they have good pizza but after mvg to the area like 7 mnths ago and calling randomly to actually get an order delivered I am let down . Not 1 time have I yet been able to lace an order for delivery, they are always short handed and having no one to deliver. Was going to take our child there to bowl, but we decided that that if we can't even place an order for pizza , how reliable wld they be when we actually went there. Sorry, I'll change my review if they ever get help.

re: to owner reply:::: ppl do understand and yes we are familiar with procedures, but your attitude towards honest opinions makes you look far worse. A review is just that. If a person can't get the order how can they say it's good. Everytime the place has been called yall are short staffed, NOT just the day the post was made. I see the total change in attitude on each of the reviews, your friendly if it's a praise to your place, but rudeness if someone states otherwise. Bowling, pizza and arcade is an awesome, classic combination that is too rare today. This place does all three about the same: good, but not great. Negatives? The shoes are ALL falling apart, the balls are rough, and the pins frequently did not set right. (I reset a lane 3 full cycles before giving up hope on a full set of 10 pins.) The pizza has highly lauded... but floppy and a little disappointing. The arcade was a separate, cramped room you had to be inside to chaperone. Positives? The staff is friendly, the place is (mostly) clean, and the price is right. Also, finding entertainment in these-here parts is sometimes difficult. They had more than one game, even an air hockey table. Plenty of lanes and a separate dining area, if you just want to have dinner. Good selection on the menu, and a laid back atmosphere.
