Ranch Frostie — Restaurant in New Lenox

I've been coming to this place for over 25 years and loved it...l. but two years seems it like it's been really going downhill. I know this menu by heart and how long it typically takes to make.something that typically takes 5 minutes took almost 25 minutes and it's because I thought they were doing something and they are actually sitting there talking to girls instead of taking care of customers.

So I thought to myself they can't screw of ice cream, I asked for a simple large twist cone dipped in chocolate and they couldn't figure out if I wanted vanilla or chocolate, I had to explain to them that I wanted a twist cone chocolate dipped. They looked at me puzzled came back to the window with a twist cone not dipped.... Three people looked at me and them and two walked away...

Since the new owners took over, it takes forever to get through the line.... even with two windows open. Some of the employees in the back were too busy messing around with each other to help the other kids working the front counter. Once getting our ice cream, the larges were missing a third of the ice cream. Should’ve ordered a small and would’ve been same amount of ice cream in the no name. It’s disappoinint the serve has changed so much since the former owners sold. I will hope it gets better but I won’t be back for awhile to find out. All of our visits have been like this since it’s new...

Good affordable frozen treats along with some hot food options like steamed tamales and hot dogs.

Nice variety, ice cream, frozen yogurt, flavored ice slushie, sundaes, ice cream sandwich cookie wheels and more.

Good selection of toppings and coatings for the ice cream, and of course the "no name" "blizzard" ice cream with candy chunks mixed in.
