Los Mariachis — Restaurant in New Lexington

Absolutely appalling service. Called yesterday to place a large order and confirm pickup today with staff. Called again first thing this morning when the restaurant opened and staff confirmed my order. I called right before my pick-up time and was told my order was not placed, nothing was ready and I would need to wait 30 more minutes so they could prepare. I then called again right before leaving to make sure my order was going to ready and they asked for another 30 minutes for it was only partially ready. I waited about an hour at the grocery store (to give them extra time) and called to check in again- only for staff to say it was still being prepared and they needed more time. When I finally arrived at the restaurant, I was told by the staff nothing was ready and I would need to wait another hour for my order to be made… needless to say I left empty handed, without any food. The present staff did not seem to be apologetic either, which just out of principle is extremely annoying. Very disappointed in how this...

I simply ordered carne asada and when my food arrived a waitress, not the male person that took my order, brought me tacos asada. I really didn't complain or want to wait to get my order corrected so I told her this is not what I ordered but I will eat it anyway. She approached the waiter that took my order and he said in Spanish that I did order the tacos. I am fluent in Spanish so I spoke loudly so he can hear me that I did not order this meal and that I heard him clearly. Now mind you when he told her in Spanish he used an offensive word that categorizes a certain demographic. I didn't complain at all because I leave reviews and I have thousands who see them. So hopefully this does not happen to you and I hope he learned his lesson that all people who look a certain way just might be bilingual. I will never eat here again and advise...

Stopped for dinner last night around 5PM. We were there a total of 10 minutes. The hostess was incredibly rude. She spilled my husband’s beer all over the table (that he hadn’t even taken a sip from yet), did not apologize, and tossed three napkins on the table. She walked away and stood next to the bar while we (and our two young daughters) cleaned up the half a bottle of Corona from the menus, the table, and their clothing. When another waitress came over to take our orders, we explained what had just happened and requested our check for the drinks (that we hadn’t drank from) and left. Will never return. Which is a shame because we have never had a poor experience at this...
