Cute little roadside cafe. I would say for the most part the food is on par for what you’d expect for a roadside diner. Two things set this place apart: 1) the decor 2) the whole wheat sopapilla. The inside has a nice southwest decor which we enjoyed very much. We also visited on a sunny day and sat in the front area which has many large windows to let the sun in, which only added to the ambiance. The clear star of the show here is the whole wheat sopapilla. We visit New Mexico a couple times a year and have sopapillas every time, and this was the first time having a whole wheat one. It was probably the best sopapilla I’ve ever had so it’s worth stopping in just for that if you’re in the area. Make sure to eat them hot because it’s the absolute best! (And don’t forget the honey)

Quaint, diner-styled, cafe about 5 minutes from the Thunder Buffalo Casino. They have classic and delicious breakfast options. Came once for breakfast and a second time for lunch. Each time I was pleased but the the chicken stuffed sopapilla with green chile on top was scrumptious! The staff was also very attentive and friendly!

Food was cold, even after we asked for it to be re-heated. They are a breakfast place out of bacon and sausage. Asked for sour cream and the package was expired. Felt bad for the poor server. He did everything we asked.

The service was extremely poor, if I could give zero stars I would. I went there with my spouse and we were the only ones in the restaurant, placed our straight forward order; cold cereal for me, and eggs, bacon and toast for my wife, with the young waitress (who was nice by the way)yet after waiting 20 minutes had still not received service, by that time another couple had come in and also ordered. After inquiring what the hold up was, the waitress stated that the kitchen had lost our ticket! What, we were the only ones there...how do you lose the only ticket you have? Anyway, by this time the other couple had been served, they had a large order with way more complexity than ours, it took another 15 minutes to be served. Luckily we were on vacation and had time, my wife was mad as hell, but I wanted to see how far this farce would playout. Anyway I don't blame the waitress, (I could tell that she was super embarrassed), I blame the owner's, since they were the ones running the kitchen. If that is how they run their restaurant, then they need to reevaluate their chosen profession, that's all I can say. Make your own choice if you want to eat at such an...

Was so disappointed in this place. Reviews sounded like it was just the kind of spot we wanted but it wasn't. The coffee was burned in Old. Orders were mixed up. I ordered hash browns and eggs over easy and got two medium eggs and no hash browns. The cream gravy was very runny and not hot at all when we got it. The waitress was sweet and did what she could but was confused with a lot of the orders even though we kept them simple. Just a very disappointing place. We travel extensively and love the little mom-and-pop places to eat and read the reviews with a grain of salt as to some of those who complain about insignificant things. We've been on the road since the 1st of June and this is unfortunately the worst place...
