I really appreciate this place is around!! Such a great opportunity to get to see live music that we normally don't get in silver, not to mention the sweet outdoor space with the lovely fire pit. My only gripe is when they first opened they left the dance floor relatively open so there was standing room for people who did not get there fast enough to get a seat, or just wanted to dance... Nowadays that area is crowded with tables. Is there no way to at least leave a lane in the center in front of the stage so that people can stand and watch the music or dance? Otherwise people are stuck standing in between tables at the bar, scrounging for seats near their friends, in the way of the staff, and blocking...

Finally, Albuquerque has come to Arenas Valley, complete with bold intersections of adobe-and-concrete, modernist steel and chic sneaker-gazers, plants for sale, popularist, travelling bands, individualistic, fine art. This writer wishes to project his idealism for this space with more traditional dancing/art/adobe/garden classes, and rewrote this review to be more positive, may be donating shade cloth and labor to the effort. I will look for larger vessels for fresh and scrumptious sun-teas, a shed with easels and used canvasses, donated paints. Ah, to soak up such a lovely, open sunset and wild, diverse space, possibly speak with another beyond the mask of our tattoos in these times of great...

Incredible, delightful place on earth. A must if you are visiting the Silver City Area. Envisioned, designed, built, and ran by a beautiful local family, who are beloved to the community and some of coolest people you'll meet anywhere in the world. The bar-restaurant space is aesthetic and original, with a design that would rival the nicest spaces in Los Angeles, New York, Austin, etc. The wood-fired pizza is outstanding (reminds me of pizza in France or Italy) , the beer selection is on point, and the mixed drinks are fresh and tasty. Excellent curation of live events, and a world-class sound system. Don't miss this landmark of community, art, music, and...

Are you a fan of printmaking? This past weekend, I had such a great time immersing myself in all things print at the Southwest Print Fiesta in Silver City, New Mexico! It was a weekend-long celebration filled with art exhibitions, a Printers’ Market, a steamroller print demonstration, workshops, and more! One of the festival’s highlights was the Printers’ Market on Mainstreet Plaza, where printmakers from across the region showcased their talents and sold their work. I couldn’t resist picking up a few prints including a tumbleweed print by @dangrissom, and a color mixing block print by Cynthera Printing. I also picked up a handful of cards from Santa Fe printmaker @etcletterpress, a screenprinted shirt from @jennrawling, and an official Southwest Print Fiesta t-shirt! The steamroller print demonstration was cool to watch! The team inked up a plate, meticulously positioned a sheet of paper on top, shielded it with a board, and skillfully maneuvered a steamroller over it. I loved watching the reveal as they carefully pealed the paper off of the plate to show the final print! The exhibitions were lovely and it was great timing as this weekend also aligned with the 25th anniversary of Weekend at the Galleries. Visitors and locals enjoyed unique art, refreshments, live music, and demonstrations at 15 local galleries. Highlights included the “Southwest Print Fiesta Exhibition” at @lightartspace_karenhymer, “Horned Toad 8x8” with @hornedtoadprints at Diana Ingalls Leyba Studio & Gallery, and the “Southwest Print Fiesta Print Exchange” at @powerandlightpress! We finished the event off with a print party at @whiskeycreekzocalo with live music, great food, cold drinks, and good times! If you missed the @southwestprintfiesta this year, I strongly encourage you to check it out in the future. It’s typically held the first weekend of October in @visitsilvercity! Silver City, New Mexico, is approximately a 2-hour drive from Las Cruces and about 5 hours from Santa Fe. Share this with someone who appreciates printmaking and follow @simplycaitlinelizabeth for more annual events in New Mexico! 💕 #SouthwestPrintFiesta #VisitSilverCity #SilverCityNM #NewMexicoTRUE

Excellent joint for grabbing a bite and a beer. Good selection of mixed drinks and their seasonal beer selection on tap was the best I’ve had. We both had wood fired pizza. My gluten free date had no negative reaction from hers, and mine was well shaped and evenly cooked (things that most wood-fired places tend to screw up). A lot of locals, but when we needed something, Kate was responsive. (Often local joints are too cliquesh to get service) Good thing we aren’t locals because I might just start having supper there every night.

Good! Bit pricy, but sweet little spot! Felt like a nuisance trying to order/get a box etc… not sure if it was just an off day but I even went to ask for an extra napkin and was met with “I gave you one already”… 😳 maybe there was a one-napkin-per-customer sign I missed? 🤷🏻‍♀️ with kind staff this place would be 5 stars in my book, note that the prices here are higher than other food spots in Silver or other surrounding areas.
