Gaylordsville Diner — Restaurant in New Milford

No rating today. The waitress, that took care of me, 2x’s, I was there. I had the porter house with eggs and then a New York Strip, with an omelette. Perfect. Today, the cook, was off his game and served me, the worst NYS, I have ever had. 3 cuts and done. There were 3 over easy eggs, I did not order. I ordered 3 egg/cheddar omelette. So, unfortunately I sent it back. She brought me the omelette and no steak. I’m looking at a place to live, down the road. I hope this never happens again. The prices are great. The coffee is great. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST, the service is superb. Very friendly. We have family in Gaylordsville, CT. We decided to take our Niece and Nephew out for breakfast, so we went to THE DINERand we were not disappointed! Up Date 5-19-23 We returned to Gaylordsville, CT to visit family again. I live in the area and use to like coming here for breakfast. Today changed that experience!! One breakfast platter came out 10 mins before the other. The first platter they forgot the toast and by the time it came the eggs were cold. My pancakes had very little chocolate chips and blueberries and the blueberries were oddly hard. No check in to see if the food was ok and no refill offers in tea or coffee. The two young waitresses sat talking while the owner ran...
