We stopped in for dinner, last evening and had one of the pasta specials and the burger over greens. The burger over greens was very good, though the extra dressing requested wasn't included. But the burger was perfectly cooked and couldn't have asked for anything better.......fresh! Delicious. Now. The pasta. Eh. It was orichettie with vegetables and chicken. The chicken was somewhat dry and there wasn't anything flavorful about the dish. Vegetables were fresh, and cooked perfectly. But. No garlic, no flavor to the dish. Our server was sweet, but I think dealing with a lot of running between outside tables and inside. She had to have been tired when she was finished! She did a great job. But service was slow, because she and the bartender were stretched. We enjoy coming here, it's a nice place to have a good meal and bump into friends. The bar is well tended and anything can be made. Skillfully. The outdoor space is nice and I'm sure when the sun goes down it's really pretty.

Beware! They have 2 menus with different prices. My girlfriend and I went to Old Oak Tavern on a Saturday night. We both ordered the Bison Burger from their special menu. On the menu the price was listed as $20 (see photo). When the bill came, they charged us $24 (see photo). When I asked the waitress that just happened to be standing next to us about the charge, she checked on her hand held iPad and confirmed that we were charged the correct amount. I explains that on the menu it was $20. She said she would get our waitress. When our waitress came, we explained the price discrepancy. She insisted that we were charged correctly. She came back to us a few minutes later with the menu, which showed $24. We were shocked. How could we have both seen the same price of $20 and now menu showed $24 (I wish I took a picture of it). So we gave our credit card to pay for the bill. While waiting, there was a couple sitting next to us with menus. We asked if we can see the menu. Their menu was the same as given to us initially. The cost of the Bison Burger was listed as $20. I took a picture of it. Right after that, I went downstairs to confront the waitress about this. She had our payment processed and ready with $8 cash in it included. Should have been more (because of the tax), but I didn’t say anything. I also noticed the menus that were stacked next to the bar. Those also showed $20 for the burger. We left very upset and disappointed, and did not leave a tip. Mistakes I understand. But this was no mistake. This was a deliberate strategy to cheat their customers. They are simply hoping that the customers will not notice or question the higher charge. They give out the menu that lists the burger at $20, all day, all night and every day. And in addition to that, when questioned by their customer, they play dumb and have a secondary menu with the higher price. Shame on you! And the burger was not that good with not a lot of meat.

After reading the fabulous reviews of the Old Oak Tavern I highly recommended it to friends as a place to meet. When we arrived and saw the front of the building (slightly run down) we were a bit apprehensive. We shouldn’t have been. We sat inside the historic building with wood beams, beautiful moldings and charming decor. The outside seating area is also lovely. The food was excellent. The Tavern burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crisp and tender. Service was friendly and our server was very helpful answering questions about the menu. So happy we overcame our appreciation and enjoyed a wonderful meal.

We live in NYC but come to the area every weekend. We went with our 3 little boys so the yard games on the gravel were a huge plus. The servers were so friendly and informative on the menu. I ordered the fish tacos - excellent. My husband ordered the steak and said it was one of the best steaks he’s had (which says a lot). The prices are what you can expect for a mid to higher end restaurant. The sangria was delicious. Will definitely be back again (and again)!

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya boy pulled up on TOOT w company for lunch .. so how was it? 👇👇 Honestly I've been here a few times and the food is pretty good pub style fare. It's done well and the atmosphere is inviting enough for a couple drinks. Had a yuuuuge burger on a baguette so that right there will bring me back again...plus my company was happy with their order as an added bonus! Will be back again, so stop in n maybe I'll see ya there!

I recently visited Old Oak Tavern, and I have to say, the food is fantastic! The nachos are absolutely out of this world—pricy, but worth every penny. Honestly, they’re some of the best nachos I've ever had, packed with flavor and the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. On top of that, the ambiance is amazing, especially the ceiling made out of wood—it really adds a cozy, rustic touch to the place. Highly recommend checking it out!
