Hardee’s — Restaurant in New Philadelphia

I used the drive thru today for a chicken tender basket, curly fries & added a cherry lemonade. I had to pull ahead for a few minutes for the curly fries. In that time I tried the cherry lemonade & all I can say to describe it is musty. I can’t determine exactly why - but once my food came out I explained & asked for a refund. Considering it was $3.79 for the lemonade. I was told to come inside. Once I got to the front desk one of the staff members disappeared toward the back. I believe it was the manager that came forward & said it must not be the lemonade, but possibly the cherry flavoring. Regardless I explained I did not want another lemonade, just a refund & a fountain drink. Since I got a medium combo. At that point I was given a large cup & told that should make up the difference. My bill was $19 for fries, chicken & a drink. How does a large drink that’s included in a $13 combo cost me an additional $4, I wouldn’t know, because I never got a receipt. Unfortunately I was limited on time or I’d have taken more time for my refund. This just proves I shouldn’t have come back to Hardee’s after a four year break since the last time I came I was also disappointed. I love Hardee's normally, but this location can be terrible. We visited the drive-thru this past Saturday and it did not appear very busy, however the workers said they were swamped. I was understanding and did not give them any grieve about it; it happens. After waiting in the drive-thru line for almost an hr to get our food and finding that they messed up our order for everyone who got something, I was not so impressed. I waited in my car by the window for almost 5 min in an effort to let them know our order was not correct, they just looked at me and walked away without making any effort to speak to me or see what was up. Not to mention the woman at the window wasn't very friendly or apologetic for the wait to begin with. At that point, we just gave up and left bc we were hungry and ready to be home. Needless to say, our family won't be visiting this Hardee's anymore. 2 stars bc at least the food is good, just overall not very...

I regularly come here every month due to proximity to my work.

Ingredients persistently change for certain menu items such as tacos. Have had many times when they are out of cups for fries, cups or an ingredient for menu items. Service is hit or miss depending on which person you get. The slender blonde woman with glasses is really nice and friendly 10/10 give her a raise. Other drive through staff is a miss.

The premises is in bad upkeep more often than not the outer flowerbeds are full of weeds, weeds coming out of cracks along the sidewalk near doors, weed killer bottles (obviously not used) strewn near the back door. Rugs piled up near the back door and have been. Both have been out back for weeks.
