Zitas Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in New Providence

All I wanted to do was enjoy ice cream with my wife. I even printed their tshirts alot so i figured their doing something right. Wrong. When I walked in there the girl started half of my order, halfway through of making my milkshake their phone rings. The girl was making my order stopped to answer it and continuously walk back and forth asking one girl what to answer instead of giving that girl the phone. So I waited as my ice cream melted. She comes back still on the phone putsmy milkshake on the counter with the lid barely on ice cream leaking out melting, still waiting to put the second part of my order in, while holding up the line. and says to me that she needs to finish this phone call and she'll finish my order. Highly unprofessional but I guess that's what you expect for hiring high school girls. Thank you Magic Fountain in Summit for rebuilding your store nothing beats...

I always go here when I'm in the mood for ice cream. They got the best iced creams. I always come here with my best girl and we just eat some ice cream. Just me and my girl and some amazing ice cream. Sometimes I come here alone and eat some fantastic ice cream but alas then I'm missing my best girl. I love you darling, smooches. One time me and my pal Sam came here, Sam like always couldn't make his mind up. Ended up trying darn near every flavor via free samples. Granted the free sample spoons are quite tiny but Sam had his fill!!! He ended up going with snapper turtle chocolate Graham cracker swamp biscuit but when we got back to the bench outside where we love to eat our ice cream and talk he couldn't even have ONE MORE BITE! Typical Sam, love ya bud, hope you had fun on your honeymoon at Myrtle beach. We still laugh about that...

I love your ice cream and the staff is very friendly. However, my recent visit turned me off a little due to the following reasons.

1- As I first walked into the establishment there was a noticeable sewer smell in the air.

2- The men’s bathroom was unwelcoming. The toilet seat was old, dirty, and stained. The sink looks as though it’s starting to pull away from the wall.

3- Flies!!! While waiting on line to order I noticed a number of flies flying around, on the counter, and on the waffle cones to be sold. This caused me to order my ice cream in a cup rather than a waffle cone out of fear of them being touched by the flies.

Even though these issues my exists at your establishment you have not lost me as a customer. Thank you again for your awesome ice cream and such friendly...
