We were told there would be a 1 hour wait. The dining room was empty. We didn’t complain, we waited one hour. At 8:15, we approached the hostess and asked about our table. She said, “I will be upfront, our fan just died ten minutes ago and there’s a chance we will close for the night.” I asked why we were never sat since the dining room was empty when we arrived an hour before, and remained empty. She stated, “we just can’t handle a party of 8.” We tried to call the oar who closes at 8:30 but with such short notice and it being so late, they didn’t answer the phone, which is understandable. I even suggested they scan the ID, but they said they don’t have any scanners. Luckily, I got my ID back, but I suggest the bartenders learn what real IDs look like and invest in...

Reservations are taken, but seating was not guaranteed outside, so we chose to go on the earlier side and get a table on the porch. The food is very good and so are the portions. Their bar is fully stocked, and they had a nice specialty cocktail list along with a small but nice wine list. Maybe on the next visit, they can hit 5 stars reading some of...
