Kennedy's — Restaurant in New York

You think high falootin is the new lifestyle? Pulled in with my wife on the motorcycle because it was a beautiful day. Yeah, we went around your little toll gate. Got a seat right away because it wasn't dinner time yet. Ordered wine for the wife and an ice tea for me. (Riding=no drinking) They brought rolls to our table that were hard as a rock. Asked them for fresh ones. 2 times they brought back the same bowl of rolls. Kind of irked me a little there. They brought out our cocktail shrimp app. 3 shrimp, with a half teaspoon of cocktail sauce. I'm thinking they really don't like our kind in here because they're really pissing us off. I had it at that point. So when we get up and leave, my wife said "f them, let's go." I'm a gentleman, so I went to pay for her wine and my ice tea. The bartender tells me I have to pay for the shrimp cocktail, because it was put on the table. Lmao. You should've seen his face when I told him I'd shove them up his butt before i would pay for them. So I paid my $14 bill and we left. Yeah, back around your toll gate. So here's the moral of the story. Don't judge a book, by it's cover. I just received a $25000 bonus the week before from my job. I'm not a nose in the air type of guy. Everyone that helped my table would've gotten a $100 cash tip last night. I also have 35-40 brothers and sisters that love seafood. But I doubt they'll be coming there after reading this review. I'll take them to a place with better food, better service and with better attitudes. Think, before you judge....

This is a local seafood restaurant and it’s very nice, but it’s full of a lot of older grumpy people. The food is good, not quite 5 stars, definitely 4, the service was excellent! The prices were reasonable for a beach side restaurant, and although the decor is very nice and it’s well laid out, the patrons were rude, loud and lacked some manners. Remember all experiences are different, but for example, as I stood in the lobby waiting for my partner to use the restroom before leaving (not blocking the lobby just standing patiently) a lady walked up behind me and said quite loudly “it would be better if you moved.” Not excuse me, or, walk around me, (again, not blocking the way) just rude and entitled bc I happened to be standing somewhat in her intended path.

This is not the fault of establishment nor the fault of the staff, they were great.

Also, the entrance is gate controlled, which I get, but yet again as I was trying to enter a truck sat in the way chatting with the attendant in the booth for a solid 5 minutes. Never looked behind, absolutely no thought I was there at all. Just chatting. Also. Oddly one of the bathroom stalls in the ladies room has a door “situation” see the picture. Conclusion, it’s a very nice local place with good food and excellent service that is full of at least some entitled patrons who bring it down. The food was very good but not quite exceptional. Overall, good experience but I’m not sure...

We had a small holiday party from my my job at Kennedy‘s tonight. I have been to this place in the summer and also in the winter season. It is a beautiful place and the holiday decorations make the place very festive. The food was excellent. We ordered the 2 tomahawk steaks for five people. We also ordered four other main courses. In addition, we had delicious, baked clams, fried calamari, and dumplings for appetizers. Lastly, we had a Caesar salad for the table and desserts, which I will get to later. The main courses were all very large, tasty, presented well and Cooked to perfection. The vegetable of steamed broccoli was very tasty with just enough garlic. The mashed potatoes were excellent, and the onion rings strings were super crunchy and delicious. For dessert we had apple pie, carrot cake, And hot beverages. Everything was top-notch and an excellent way to end a most amazing meal. Our waitress was Danielle Who was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and helpful when it came to explaining the specials. Our eater glasses and drinks were always full. All dishes were properly removed when we finished with them and she Genuinely cared that we were well taken care of. This is an excellent restaurant to visit anytime of the year. I...
