I've been coming to Governors Island for years, and this was my first time dining at Three Peaks Lodge. I normally come for drinks and to sit and enjoy the view, but this meal took the experience to another level. Everything from the service to the food to the unbeatable views was outstanding. You really can't ask for anything better! Reserve a table close to sunset so you can experience the real magic. We opted for a pre-fix menu that surpassed my expectations. If you value the ambiance of fine dining with nature then Three Peaks Restaurant at Governor's Island is your place to go. I visited on August 19th, 2025, and I was amazed and impressed with the mouth watering sumptuous dinner that was served. The staff is polite, and very attentive! This a little heaven in the middle of the city! Thank you for the experience Tree Peaks staff, it was appreciated, keep doing what you are doing. I am so looking forward to my next visit. The location is stunning. Go for the views and ambience. The fire pits with the option to make smores is a nice touch. The concierge is excellent. They do a great job of setting up transportation if you are not staying on the resort. The food is a big miss. They were out of many mixed drinks and some of the food menu items.
