I wish there was more than 5 stars because this place definitely deserves it. We drove all the way out from Gainesville just to try it and we were not disappointed. We had lunch at our usual spot in Fanning Springs. And it was only 2 miles up the road. So we took the short journey up. There were greeted when we came in the door. The staff was amazing, checking in on a several times theyeven let us sit in the party room because there was no spots available for a group our size in the regular dining area. We all have something a little bit different. I ended up trying to cheesecake because amazing next time. I'm definitely trying to funnel cake.. This place is so worth the drive just by itself, but we made a day of it and went to the state park, which is only 2 miles...

It's so good, we travel from Homosassa to get it! A man stopped us as we were leaving and informed us that we had a flat tire. He offered to change it for us, but thankfully we had AAA. Come to find out, he was the owner of this awesome place. He offered for us to sit inside, out of the heat, while we waited. We had an enjoyable conversation with him and he even blessed us with a couple of bottles of cold water. The desserts are tasty, the place is clean, the ice cream is good and creamy with quite a few flavor choices, and the hospitality is always over the top! We will continue to travel 60+ miles to spend our money where we receive great service, from good people, who appreciate your support! Thank You Legends Dessert Shop and may God continue to...

We just moved from Houston and we've definitely been spoiled by Houston's large foodie scene, regardless of what you're craving it was available somewhere!

I'm SO happy Legends is so close to us, their garlic cheese curds and fried cheesecake (with either dulce de leche or strawberry cheesecake ice cream) have become my new go to comfort foods! Those new smoked gouda mac n cheese bites, we need 2 orders next time!

Bad day? Eat cheese curds! Feeling blue? Cheese curds will help! Significant other being a butt? Fried cheesecake brings only joy! Kids irritating you? They won't say "Mom" with mac n cheese bites stuffed in their cute lil faces!
