Being from the area I rarely visit places in my own backyard; as many people do, one tends to veer a bit farther away. However, on a beautiful late August evening, I decided to stop by and sauntered in to this very family friendly and unique outdoor place.

Noticing other reviews, there is a chorus about the basic nature of the menu. The menu is simple and basic, but nonetheless very appetizing. It is not the culinary mecca, but rather a place to enjoy the fresh salty air, with a vibe of levity, great views and open air dining. The service is outstanding and my server Erin, was ever so friendly and joyous. I started out with the Patatas Bravas, which is a fancy way of saying Tater tots. They were very flavorful with a tasty mix of sautéed onions and roasted peppers. Being summer and in NE, I could not resist having the quintessential Lobster roll. It was very hearty and mouth watering, with a very decent amount of Lobster and not overly dripping in sauce. It was a good complement to the mundane but delicious taters. It comes with a side of chips.

If you are visiting the area, or local, this is a great venue to enjoy a relaxing meal. There is a fire pit to warm up with friends and family, while taking in the refreshing salty ocean air and potentially gazing at an amazing sunset as the evening of...

We had the pleasure of hosting my son and my now daughter-in-law's Welcome Dinner at The Sunset Club over Labor Day weekend.

Jenn and her staff were amazing to work with and the food was incredible! The outdoor atmosphere and beautiful sunset created the perfect prelude to their wedding.

Planning the Welcome Dinner with Jenn was so easy! She took care of everything and was so friendly that we decided to have The Sunset Club cater a clambake at the Blue Inn the day after the wedding for our guests that were staying the weekend.

This was the perfect way to celebrate the newlyweds on their first day as a married couple! Jenn and her staff coordinated everything with Caylee who is the manager at the Blue Inn.

The set up was perfect, the food was great and my son and my daughter-in-law were able to hang out with their friends and families all day.

We highly recommend checking out The Sunset Club for a place to unwind and enjoy a casual day or night out but also recommend you consider them for your...

We recently hosted a brunch with Sunset Club the morning after our wedding, and we had the best experience! Despite the bad weather that morning, our guests had the best time and we still were able to comfortably accommodate quite a large number of people indoors and under the provided tents. The vibe of the event ended up being so fun and it was the perfect way to cap off our wedding weekend. Jennifer was so incredibly easy, professional, and kind throughout the planning process. The bride has severe food allergies, and Jennifer and the rest of the staff at Sunset Club were so professional and kind in making sure that her allergies were accounted for, which was so appreciated. The food and the service from the staff were both excellent. Several of our guests who had never been there before mentioned to us that they were excited to come back and visit another time. If you’re ever considering hosting an event with Sunset Club or just going for a visit, we highly...

My official new favorite place in the area that I’ve been taking all my visitors to. Not enough good things to say about this. There are a lot of places around NBPT with great vibes but this is the best. The atmosphere they’ve managed to create is extremely fun and laid back. The three frozen cocktails are fun and tasty, and the rum punch and piña colada are some of the best I’ve had. The menu has a little bit of everything — familiar favorites like the smash burger and tuna poke but also some different options like the beef skewers and strawberry gochujang wings (what a brilliant flavor combo). There’s a fire pit, a table in a “ship,” a second mini bar, and cornhole (which I’m actually good at !?!?). So grateful we have this on Plum Island.

Got takeout from this place, went to pick up and the sun was setting- pretty fun outdoor area. Ordered the fish tacos x2 and the autumn salad and brought them home to eat. The fish was nicely cooked but lacked flavor- more salt or sauce would be great. There was also a teeny bit of slaw on the side which was good but would have loved more. Overall the fish was cooked well just wasn’t super flavorful. The salad had some nice components to it- candied walnuts, squash, feta. One thing that was gross was that I noticed a hair in my tacos. I ate them anyway because I was hungry. But then I also noticed a hair in my salad too. They really need to get that under control because they were both black really long pieces.
