I do quite a bit of take out ordering for my staff. Unfortunately, just about every time I come to this location there is something wrong with my order. There is actually too much to list, but I will just list a few.
We ordered a Large Hot Tea for with sugar on the side. We received a Large Hot Black Coffee with a Tea bag in it. Who puts a tea bag in a cup of coffee.
We ordered a toasted bagel with butter, it took them almost 15 minutes for them to get it to us. While we were standing there, the young man that was working that station, bagged up another persons order, dropped the bag on the floor, picked it up and handed it to the young lady working the drive thru, who then gave it to the customer. Nasty
Unfortunately, this location is apparently a training facility. The manager is a great guy and does the best that he can do, but there is so much volume there that he can't do everything. The staff is mostly younger people and they just are not customer service oriented. The young lady that normally works the driver thru window in the morning is amazing. There is also a young black lady that works the cash register that is amazing when she is there. Those 3 individuals actually are the ones keeping this place together. The others you can tell really don't want to be there.
I was a Starbuck's person for a long time and a friend got me hooked on DD, but Starbuck's customer service is leaps and bounds better than this DD. I have watched so many people walk out of this location due to bad customer service and taking to long to get people's orders out. They will have 6 people working and a line out the door because their order hadn't even been taking yet. You actually have to wave them down to take your order. SAD
