Charlie's Colonial Bar Inc — Restaurant in Niles

I went there yesterday to visit my parents playing pool. I brought my 5 year old daughter for her to see her Nana and Papa, my mom and I decided to go have a quick cigarette break outside and the old lady behind the counter is a true KAREN!! I waited for almost 10 minutes to order food she kept giving me dirty looks when I was nothing but polite to her. My mom and I came back inside and I got told that old lady (Karen) was complaining my daughter was being too loud but yet she has something to say about my 5 year old but all the other people inside that bar was way louder than she was. My daughter was so upset she wanted to leave early and go home because my daughter was so upset. I will never go to this bar again because this lady can't understand kids will be kid's. And for anyone else's information my parents playing pool 🎱 on a Sunday and they usually get done about 6pm so kids at that age is allowed to be there but yet complain about my daughter being loud but yet all the other adults were louder than she was. I'm so sick of Karen's who can't understand kids and can't have a good attitude and treat customers...

I was in town and went to this bar for the first time this past weekend. The atmosphere of people was great! Outside of that, the drinks were poorly made and the fact that she was having people pay with Cash App (i thought it said cash only) and taking shots with the customers was a little off to me. Its a small bar in a neighborhood so maybe certain...

I used to be more open to going here but it’s obvious the people don’t want to work there or stay open. The workers are lazy, takes forever to order a drink, and are just plain nasty people. They don’t care for it so why should others? Bar is falling apart too… don’t bother...
