Forced to leave. Let me tell you why…. Tried to get a reservation and was told its first come first serve. That was fine. I explained that I was only calling because we had a party of eight and wanted to give them advanced notice. He then proceeded to tell me that it’s first come first serve, which means we will not drag tables together, nor will your entire party get to sit at the same table unless two tables come up at the same time, we would not get to eat at the same time. I then told him that’s fine, we went anyway because we’ve had a good experience in the past. When we arrived, one in our party had a bottle of water, as she is pregnant and needed to drink fluids. The waiter came directly to us within 30 seconds of us arriving and explained that we could not bring bottled water into the establishment. She then put the bottle of water in her purse. With 30 seconds off that another waiter came from the kitchen and sternly told us you need to take that bottle of water outside. We explained that due to her pregnancy she would need to drink water and would only need it until we were seated. He had no compassion nor would he hear any of it. He told us we would have to leave if we continued to stay in the establishment with the bottle of water. At no point in time did he offer to give us a cup of water that was clearly sitting on every table. He was more happy with us just leaving the establishment. I will never return. I will never speak highly of this restaurant ever again. Sadly, it used to be one of our favorite places to go and the reason we decided to go there today was to take family that was in from out of town because we liked the place so much. We drove an hour to get there, and basically was kicked out of the restaurant due to a bottle of water. That could have been remedied by a simple act of kindness and to offer a cup of water. They should be ashamed of the way they treated a...
Read moreI seriously have never been more embarassed. My Mom and Dad went to our girls Noble little league games and we thought we'd let them try Tiffany's. We waited outside in the 100 degree heat for almost 30 min. When we went in my 70 plus year old mom had a plastic water bottle in her hand. We sat down and one of the owners said you need to throw that away. It startled her so she put it in her purse. The guy watched her and said , "No, you either throw it away or leave!" We were all just shocked. I have never been more disgusted with a "restaurant" in my life. I will never step foot in that place again and I will tell anyone who will listen how disrespectful they were to an elderly lady who was basically blindsided with rudeness and hateful words. Just unbelievable how the waiter treated her. Then when I showed them my disgust, they started berating us and threatening us. Oh and by the way the food is gross. They give you a lot of food so you don't notice how horrible it really is. Absolutely sickening! If you read any responses to negative reviews from the owners you'll see they talk about rules, hurting independent establishments and how no one should criticize them. We did not see the no water bottles sign. Honestly, we were just trying to avoid heat exhaustion waiting outside for so long. The fact is we would of had no problem throwing the water away but they virtually attacked my mother and was so rude about it. You don't get to bully elderly women and not have some kind of honest review. Reviews like this allow for others to be aware of what you'll experience if you...
Read moreBecause of gangbuster breakfast business on the weekend, Tiffany's may not compete for their nearby Norman customers who are used to 2 pm closings and nuanced gourmet offerings of choices from IHOP, The Diner, Juan de Fuego, Hasslers, and now Denny's. Choices deal with things like Toast, Hash browns and Table Condiments.
At Tiffany's, Saturday 10 am was intimidating. A sea of fully occupied tables. Some folks in line to get in. I noticed the hours - Saturday to Close at 11:45 am. So soon?
In under 3 minutes they seated me. That's fast! Lots of wait staff. Deciding your order goes fast for a reason. Menu for breakfast is one page, and choices are simple, eg. Toast or B & G. What kind of toast, I asked, eg. English muffin, Sourdough, Raison, Wheatberry, Rye? A low cost upgrade to a single "doller" pancake with Blueberries? No. Simply Regular or Texas toast.
Hash browns alternate, I asked, eg. Country fries (with onion & bell pepper bits) or small plain Oatmeal substitute? No, simply Grits.
Omelet choices, though, are ROBUST, eg. all the way up to The Tiffany 4-egg monster. (See menu items photo). I loved the Veggie omelet. (See plate photo). It comes with no cheese (a $1 upgrade if you want it).
My Texas toast was served HOT as was the Omelet. My Hash browns were done PERFECTLY.
But there was no Honey for my coffee. They had Smuckers, but no Orange Marmalade and no Seedless BlackBerry, my two fav Smuckers. No real Butter at the table. And only Tobasco, no Louisiana Hot Sauce,...
