Pizza was marked as "delivered." No pizza was here. I waited 20 minutes after said delivery and called in; was put on hold immediately.
After ten minutes, Brenden answers the line and immediately says, without saying anything else, "What car number." I told him I didn't know what he was talking about; that I was trying to find out where my pizza was. It makes sense that he was probably answering the wrong phone line. However, what got me, was that after I mentioned I was inquiring about my order and I wasn't sure what he meant, he immediately threw me back on hold, as if he didn't have ten seconds to spare and say "I'll be right back with you and we will look into it, give me just a moment." Nothing. Put on hold and ignored.
Another five minutes pass, he answers again. Immediate response when answering is "What is the problem with your pizza?"
I again inform him: the problem is there is no pizza. I have no pizza to report a problem on. He then tells me "Oh it's a dasher."
....
No clue how this helps my situation of having Pizza Tracker showing it's delivered, not having a pizza, and being informed "it's a dasher."
I noticed this on pizza tracker as it showed the phone number for the driver, who I attempted to call, and who failed to answer.
What kind of customer service is this? So I again inform him I have no pizza and he says "Just wait and it'll probably be there and if not you can call back." I inform him this makes zero sense; doesn't it make more sense to remake said pizza ($20) and send it out again? Rather than put me through a loop of having to call back again, be put on hold another 10-20 minutes, and then still be waiting for a new pizza to arrive, in the event said pizza is not here.
The pizza did end up arriving;, about ten minutes after the end of the conversation. So I guess that's great and all. Not. Turns out it's cold and basically dough with a teaspoon of sauce and a handful of cheese. What a joke.
So let's analyze.
Perhaps there was a glitch in the Papa Johns Pizza Tracker that showed it delivered when it wasn't. Those things do happen. No worries.
What really drove me to write this review was the fact that I started out as just being concerned my order was dropped at the wrong location. I was not even upset. But, after calling, I was greeted with someone who had no interest in hearing about my concerns and simply wanted to get me off the call rather than solve the fact that I had not received my order.
I do not understand why companies hire employees who exhibit zero experience (or zero care) in customer service.
You know what could have corrected this problem? A simple answer of the phone, listening to my problem, and having the willingness to address said problem. I don't even need an apology; just someone who can listen, speak kindly, and look into the issue, rather than abruptly putting me on hold as if I'm a customer that doesn't matter.
I'm tired of purchasing from Corporations who care nothing about the consumer.

Online order placed at 5:42 (Estimation of 47 minutes). At 5:56, I received a call stating they forgot to update the online ordering system to show they were out of gluten free crust. Thus, they wouldn't be able to make my wife's pizza. They offered credits for the mistake, however we never received anything.
At 7:10, the online system showed delivered, but no one showed up. When I called the store, they said the order hadn't left yet (initially weren't sure if it had been made...), but was just about to leave for delivery.
Despite being only 10 minutes away, I called back at 7:34 when we still hadn't received anything. They admitted that the original order had been delivered to the wrong address. However, the newly remade order was on its way, with no estimate on delivery...
At 7:40 (1hr 58 min), my order of 1 large pizza and a papadia finally arrived. No offer of refund ever received... (Will update if anything changes).
The pizza was decent, so I guess they've got that...
Read moreI originally gave this location 5 stars. That was about 3 years ago. They have declined tremendously since then. Tonight was my breaking point. The location, traffic dependent, is 30 seconds to 1 minute away from my house. I still use delivery because, well, convenience. I ordered tonight and then just waited, watched the tracker show the driver pass my neighborhood. 30 minutes later I get a text from door dash saying it would be at least another 10-15 minutes. I did not know they were delivering through door dash, as they have always had their own drivers. If I would have known this, I would have never placed an order for deliver; as I despise door dash. So, I called the store and cancelled my order, which overall, was easy enough. However, 20 minutes later the food still showed up, not hot, and the extra sauces had tin foil covering them, instead of lids. So, now I am waiting to see if they charge me again. I am not eating the food, and will take the whole order back there if they do. I will never order from here again, which is sad, because we have ordered A LOT of food from there...
