Super bummed. Been wanting to come here for years. Wanted to try the sour series. Thought i could just get a flight. These yahoos don't let you do anything except premade flights and no substitutions. Can't even order sample sizes of beers. I was planning on sampling 8 to 10 beers.

None of the flights were four beers I wanted. You don't allow me to sub. You dont allow to pay for selections of my choosing. How's that work for folks who actually want to try a bunch of your stuff and aren't interested in downing 12 12oz beers but would be fine with 8 3 to 5 oz pours?

It is 2023 and you're struggle bussing what every where else has managed to figure out? C'mon now.

You can include an extra price for each beer that is a sample size portions and let people mix and match flights. Not each beer will be same price for the flight but it's super easy to set up and will draw in more sales.

Instead of trying a bunch of your beers. We bought zero because of no interest in getting sloshed just to sample them.

Easily would have spent an additional 40 to 60 bucks on a variety of beer.

Edit:. Tried again. Offered to pay for samples so I could try several beers and was told they don't do that.

Seriously you're a craft beer hall. This is absurd and ridiculous. Basically every craft beer place does this.... Been to places in over 30 states in the last two years and can't recall even one major craft beer place who DIDNT do this already.

Ask yourself this. Do you have a business case to not do it? You make more per oz of beer on flights and that covers more labor.

Edit 2: ffs. So I noticed there were mix packs with one each of six different beers. Amazing. I want a few.

Oh. I'm not allowed to pick the beers despite there being numerous variety packs covering all the different beers I want. Just not in the same pack. Nope. Not allowed to do that either.

/Facepalm.

Instead of buying 48 beers to take home I got zero. Y'all killing me.

Food was utterly fantastic.

You can charge 3 bucks for 3 oz pours and get 12 per can equivalent instead of the 5 to 7 each can...

I'm not from the area but was in town for a meeting and our team was having an outing here. I am not really a beer consumer, but I do like to try new things and was excited about trying something different!

I tried their apple cider and so glad I did! It was delicious. Their food was delicious as well!!

When visiting, if this is your first time, you will want to note that orders are placed by the bar and not at your table. Menus are provided and can also be scanned via QR code. When you are ready to order, you proceed to the order area inside. A line quickly forms once they open, but it does move rather smoothly and fast. Also, you will want to have your order ready to provide once you reach the counter. I would recommend looking at the menu at your table first and the proceed to the line with your order and/or any questions you may have once you are ready to order.

I gave this restaurant four stars because of the service. From the moment I walked in, to the end of our night the service was alright. Some staff of the was friendly and knowledgeable while others were not really friendly (like the one taking my order). Additionally, I felt rushed when placing my beverage order and the individual taking my order appeared bothered by the questions I had about their selection. (Which is out of sorts since one has to wait in line and there didn't appear to be any other place to ask questions).

The food here is excellent made up for the service. It was not too long of a wait for the food to arrive at the...

Beautiful location, great vibe, fabulous food (although I wish there were more entree items instead of just pizzas, salad and sandwiches)!!! I had their Indian styled pizza, very very good, great crust, great residual heat, it really could use more tomato’s though. I added chicken for some protein, which was a great addition! I really liked this place but I gave it a 3 star rating due to two things: I really REALLY dislike having to order my food at a kiosk and then go pick it up myself at the window. I also really REALLY dislike having to go to the bar to order my drink. I would much rather have wait staff and be served…that’s kind of the point to going out for dinner, otherwise I’d go to a buffet. The self service thing totally downgrades the entire experience. And they have an upscale environment, but the experience is lacking….please get wait staff! I realize it’s their brewery, however for us non beer drinkers, it would be nice to have some hard alcohols to choose from and also some wine that is not produced by the brewery. Maybe some seltzers like High Noon or something. Anything but just beer (and the wine that they produce). If I want their wine, I would order it. Oh and some sparkling water would be an excellent option as well! Perrier, Pellegrino, something! Again, fabulous place, fabulous food, fabulous environment (that could be massively improved with the addition of wait staff)! They just need wait staff and other...

I brought my girlfriend here for lunch on Valentine's Day. We planned on spending the whole day in Bloomington and this was our first stop. I was looking forward to trying this place being that the Destihl restaurant on Towanda is one of our favorite places to eat in Bloomington. I quickly learned that this particular location isn't anything like the other location. It appears that the menus are different between the two and ordering process was a bit confusing at first. We navigated through it just fine once we realized everything was done through the touch screens at a kiosk. I ordered the grande grilled cheese with bacon and a side of tomato soup. My girlfriend ordered the buffalo chicken paillard salad. We also ordered a side of gose chips. Although the chips were cold and chewy everything else we ordered was excellent. Not a whole lot of interaction from staff in general however I did talk with the bartender and she was incredibly nice. The atmosphere was very clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were clean as well. Our meal came out to just under $40 which was very reasonable. Overall it was a good experience. I happen to like the other location much better though and they have a Cuban sandwich there that's worth driving to Bloomington for.
