I'd never been to this Mexican restaurant and we came here simply due to the fact that all the ones we usually go to around here are closed on sundays. The hostess: No smiles, greeting and when she sat us she she didnt say anything to me. I was looking at her eyes waiting on some verbal conformation that our server would be w us shortly. After about less than 1minute the waitress came and asked if we were ready to order. Like...? I havent even opened my menu. After we got our food, my partner didn't like her meal so I asked them to take it off the check and give me to go box. The waitress was snippy and walked away real fast. Once we got up to pay for the food. The over the top friendly hostess was checking us out. When she rang it in I felt the total was a little high and asked for a copy of the receipt. When I got it it wasnt itemized. So I asked her what all was charged. So the snippy waitress comes up there and mumbles some stuff she walks on and then FINALLY someone who had service skills and a professional attitude comes up there and fixes the other charge. Those 2 women were terrible and La Sierra has given me one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a Mexican restaurant. I guess that's why they are open on sundays to have a chance at business while all the good...
Read moreBeen going here since they opened years ago! They've always supported local functions and events, even let me do a benefit dinner to raise money for our Relay For Life team in honor of my dad who passed from cancer.
Love the food, love the service, and love the people! Always greeted with a smile ! They are very busy and if the order is messed up the quickly fix it! Many times they already know what I want before I ask! That’s the kind of service I love about them!
For the very RUDE comment from “That Dang Don”, maybe don’t go to a MEXICAN restaurant and make a racial comment on social media if you’re expecting a smile and friendly service from them. That was certainly NOT APPROPRIATE!
Miguel has ALWAYS smiled and spoke to our family when he’s able. Most of the time they’re swamped with customers and trying to get the food out to everyone, so maybe no smile meant he’s concentrating on keeping everything in order. These are good...
Read moreI’d rate this as the 3rd worst Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in my life. Nothing authentic about the food my family of 6 had here. I think the number 1 thing people think of when someone mentions Mexican food is “Tacos”. Tacos are very easy to make delicious however, this place takes no pride in what they serve and instead of making an authentic, delicious taco…they serve ground beef in a pre-made taco shell…which was confirmed by the server when I asked her.
Perfect your taco…fry a corn tortilla (doesn’t even have to be homemade), use shredded beef instead of ground beef. Take pride in your food.
As for the server, she was one of the nicest servers I’ve ever had and did her job well. Maybe they should...
