Chan's Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Norristown

New resident to area. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised with food. I went for pick up. Took a bit cause several people there.

Was happy with the fried wontons. They don't use the regular yellow wonton wrap (good).

Chicken with broccoli was tasty (my usual), but a bit on greasy side (not uncommon).

Not really happy with fried rice, which was just yellow rice barely with anything on it, not even soy sauce. Better to go...

I ordered Sesame Chicken, Beef dumplings, and a pizza egg roll.. I got Sesame Grey meat, pork(?) dumplings, and as I was leaving the store I bit into what I realized was a regular egg roll , turned around asked for the right item and was told no. The quality verses value is why I am giving Chan's Garden 5 stars. The staff is very nice, intelligent, and competent. I eat there all the time. I've never had to wait long for my food. It isn't located in the classiest neighborhood, but I've never observed any problems inside the restaurant. I highly recommend...
