Rolf's Pub — Restaurant in North Andover

This place Blows! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL!! Been here a couple times, first time was great really relaxing and nice atmosphere with a nice younger bar tender gentleman with respect. Showed up last night with my boyfriend just to relax and grab a drink. The older bald bartender came up to me and my boyfriend got our order and then proceeded to come back and talk and talk to my boyfriend. Never said one word to me or even bothered to engage me into the conversation also asked about the payment and I said Tab please and I was paying but no he asked my boyfriend’s name instead and put him down as the tab. I was the one in fact paying and taking my boyfriend out for the night. As goes for the rest of time he was non stop guy talking with my boyfriend which I don’t mind but 10-15 minutes go by and again he does not even bother to look me in the eyes and talk to me once while I’m right next to boyfriend. Also was talking to my boyfriend about his area in out of state and how he was going up there for the hot girls and such and continued to HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ME AS A WOMEN NEXT TO MY BOYFRIEND. I understand it’s a dive bar but having no respect for a young women next to her boyfriend shows the true colors of this place. Won’t ever be back again! You would have thought that Rolfs would have made changes to make a visit more exciable... Nope .. same place .. same service. I might buy this place to make it a destination Bar and grill... I live in North Andover and I was asked why I was so hard on a local place... I decided to go back to Rolfs to see if any changes.. last Friday I stopped in and had a jack and coke I bought french fries to eat.. I was greeted by the owner who I know and looked around it looked cleaner the fries were good. So I'll update this from 2 stars to three stars. By I'm going to talk to the owner and see what it's going to take to either manage this place...

Rolf's Pub is your perfect dive bar.

The interior was gritty, and the lighting was low, but the server was great, and the regulars were off the cuff yet charming.

They have a pool table and some type of bowling vudeo game (maybe, idk, I didn't play it), plenty of space for a big group to drink some miller lite and just relax, no pressure.

The bar itself has about 7 chairs and a scattering of tables on the floor.
