First time at this particular location -- coincidentally, it is also the very last. This review has NOTHING to do with the food; the food was fine. This review deals only with sheer incompetence. I was about to visit a friend and i was told his sons were playing street hockey with neighbors. I hadnt eaten but planned on eating a good dinner. I thought it best to just grab a small burger to hold me over. I called my friend .. his wife answered because he was filling in for the goalie until he returned ... I asked how many kids were playing and if they wanted anything because i was already at the drive-thru .. I ordered my burger and 6 small vanilla frosties. When i arrived at the window, i was handed my drink and burger. Fine so far, right? ... Well ... Here it comes: i was hurriedly handed a bag and was dismissed in a flash ... With the comment "sorry, i had to bag them; we are out of trays" ... And she was done with me ... DIIIISSSMMIISSED i didnt dare to touch the bag until i got to my destination. I was right to feel this way; one lid was off and another barely one. The structural integrity of the bag was severely compromised with the cold wet vanilla goodness. The bag ... In the 2 seconds that i lifted it above my seat .. Ceased to be a bag in the technical sense .. I salvaged what i could .. Lost 3 of the 6 fosties .. I could no longer give one to each kid .. So i quickly downed my burger . sipped a few sips of my drink ... Cleaned my seat .. And snuck the 3 survivors into my friends' home .. why they just stuffed 6 frosties into a single ply bag and didn't double it is beyond me .. why they didn't put it in a different kind of bag is beyond me ... I suspected I was in trouble right from Jump Street ... I gave them the benefit of the doubt ... I thought they could AT LEAST affix lids responsibly ... NOPE ... Idiocy ... On my behalf as well .. Should have immediately put an end to the...
Read moreI came in at 9:30pm to order two regular frosties. I was told I could not order at the counter because there was no one to operate the register(???), so I had to use the self-service kiosk. When my frosties arrived, I noticed liquid splashing underneath the coversâthey were not at all frozen. I pointed out to the employee that Iâve never seen a frosty like that in the 40 years Iâve been having them. She replied that they had just refilled the chocolate frosty machine, and that it wasnât cold enough yet. Thatâs when she should have saidââwe donât have this available now,â or âif youâd like to wait, it will be ready,â or âlet me give you a refund.â None of the above happened. When I worked at McDonaldâs 25 years ago, we would never have offered that kind of service, at least not where I worked. Iâve had to put them in the freezer now. Additionally: Board of Health would have plenty to say about lack of cleanliness visible behind counter, cleaning sprays sitting in food service areas. Management here needs to step up. Good service and professional standards support the reputation of the...
Read moreThe whole experience was ridiculous. The drive up line was unbelievable and slow. I hated myself for staying on it. When I ordered I asked for two Double Stacks, with ketchup and pickles only. No cheese, no mustard, no onions. Staff repeated the order and I then paid and finally received the food. On a hunch I pulled over and checked the order.
Not surprisingly, it was wrong. Cheese and onions on each burger.
I went ito the store, asked for the manager and explained my dilemma. She asked what I had ordered and then came back with a fresh bag of food.
Fortunately I checked it again before I drove away. And guess what? Cheese, onions, etc... Really?
Again I went in and saw the manager. She was borderline rude, like I was making this up. No apologies, no refund, no incentives like a free drink for my trouble. Nothing, flat.
She said she'd make them herself, and out of character I asked "how hard is this?"
Well, I finally did get the burgers as ordered, but of course my fries were now cold from all the waiting.
I will not be returning to this...
