I will get straight to the point. The service here was awful and the food is mediocre at best. We went here to eat because there craft fair in the field next to the restaurant. One would think that if such an event was happening right next to your establishment, you would have additional staff on hand to accommodate the extra patrons. However, this was somehow lost on the owners/managers. To the contrary, it seemed like they were understaff and unprepared for such an event. We walked in and we were told to sit anywhere. So we sat outside. There were 8 tables and 2 hightops outside. Only 2 of the tables were occupied other than ourselves. We waited about 10 minutes for menus, 10 more minutes for our orders to be taken and 35 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the steak and cheese sub and my wife ordered the spicy chicken wrap (both come with either fries, steak fries, waffle fries or onion rings. but our waiter never bothered to ask us what we preferred). When my steak and cheese came out, to my dismay, it looked like fake "Steakum's" steak. Flat and unappealing, Luckily it didn't taste that way, but it still had not much flavor. At least cut it up on the grill while it's cooking so it looks like shaved steak. The piece de resistance, was that we got our check and the waiter went to process it, but 20 minutes later....still no receipt for me to sign. I ended up going inside and getting the check myself. Disappointing all around. To the owners/managers...please learn how to prepare for events like this...a little tweaking and preparation can...

The reason I'm dropping my review from 3 stars to two is because the service has gotten worse not better. Most recently I went during a craft fair which you think they would be prepared for since it's in that open field next to them. My family is made of 3 kids all under the age of 4. When we go out it's far and few between so it's always special and it's rare our kids sit nicely at the table, but that's what they did today. However Doodys took over 90 minutes to bring us or food which of course any mom will tell you is too long to wait for kids food. I told the manner we had been waiting an obscene amount of time for our food and she was unapologetic and simply said the food is cooked as the tickets come in which was bull bc after 45 minute's after us another table got their food. We still hadn't gotten our app or kid's food. Or even a drink refill. When the food did come it was all at once and you could tell the app had been sitting in the window a while.
