I am posting but I am the husband to Patty Taylor and not actually Patty. However, we have dined here a couple of dozen times especially for the karaoke night. I love the meat loaf, cornbread, cole slaw and mashed potatoes. Patty likes the ribs and bbq combo. We were asked to never come back because we returned the burned up ribs and then rejected, I will be nice and overcooked hamburger. Our waitress was fabulous and so sweet and was trying to make it right. We had never returned anything there before. We were not rude, loud, or nasty about it and even apologized to Zoie. Another patron at our table complained about her food but ate it and her bill was reduced. We never asked for that and just wanted to pay for what we did have. The manager came out and embarrassed me in front of all at our table saying not to ever return. Believe me, I never will. I am 70 years old and never had this happen to us anywhere. It wasn't our fault the food was overcooked. Oh yes, I am angry and have no desire to bash the restaurant but the manager surely needs some training on proper customer service. The food is usually okay but not always and we just haven't made waves about it until this. I am a kind and patient person and can tolerate a lot of junk. People have told me many times that I am like the nicest person they ever met. I never look for a fight but I am having a very hard time getting over the way we...

Recommend stopping for lunch! Party: 6 adults, 3 children. When ordering multiple of one item, there is a chance they don't taste the same. Our food was amazing. Consistency was superb! Liv, server, did great. Drinks were full and she offered every course. Kept us informed about specials and convinced us to try a dessert, even though we could already be rolled out, stuffed to the brim, full. 40% Tip As a Marylander, any crab item is substandard since we are known for our crabs. HOWEVER this crab dip was phenomenal. Served with fried pita squares that were to die for. So delicious. Bang bang shrimp were sauced and friend perfectly. The wings were crispy and not overpowered by the sauce. BLT, fried fish sandwich, chicken tenders. All delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken sandwich was not our favorite. Chicken not as thinly sliced as I would have liked but great concept and flavor. Ceasar salad could have used less dressing. All in all. The chef on duty did a terrific job! Restrooms were cleaned and checked regularly. 2 Kid high chairs were not cleaned and needed...

Very poor service. We were unlucky to be assigned a guy who would rather jibber jabber with customers he knew and the staff than take good care of his tables. He forgot to bring our drinks, let our food sit under the warmers instead of serving it promptly, neglected to refill our drinks, and I had to get up and go to the kitchen to get a box and a check. I could have laughed that off if the food was great, which it wasn't. Good thing their barbeque sauces are good, because the barbeque is bland and lacking smoked flavor. My french fries were inexcusably limp and soggy. Snap beans were standard overcooked canned stuff. My wife said her liver and onions was okay. Well, at least they have liver and onions. They have a strong local following, but as locals ourselves, we'll chalk this one up to just another disappointingly average area restaurant. Too bad, because we really had expected...

I got the prime rib on a Saturday night. An absolutely beautiful hunk of meat, packed with possibly the most flavor I have had in a steak. And that’s before you put the au jus on it! Prime rib is one of those things that is really easy to do alright but seemingly much harder to do perfectly, but this place nailed it. The sides weren’t just an afterthought either, fries were great of course. A lot of mid-budget restaurants in the South have an applesauce side that is watery garbage as if it was an afterthought, but theirs was surprisingly really good, A tier. Service staff was nice and prompt as well. Not usually my style of place to visit but they knocked it out of the park and I will be back.

Nortk Carolina is very famous for BBQ. And "Carolina Sauce" is also existing. This restaurant serves BBQ, seafood, the other local food, and great cakes!!! BBQ mas very good and two kinds of BBQ sauces are also delicious with spicy and sour taste. The other cuisine, fried flounder and Sandwiches looked very nice! Fresh squeezed homemade lemonade was so good. And they have many choices of cake, it is difficult to choose! Every cake looks so good. I chose strawberry cream cake (of course, it is homemade!), it was so sweet and so good. Waitress lady was very kind and friendly, she had knowledge of menu. Her recommendation was so helpful. I love this restaurant!

The Cafe was cute and quaint. Lot's of ducks everywhere. The hostess greeted us and sat us down. Our server was forever chatting to a table for 10-15 minutes before taking their order, that is when we have already sat down. While this is happening, the hostess is sitting at a table and I'm assuming she is on her phone. She could have asked if we wanted anything to drink. She could have said, to the server, that she sat us down. The chicken wings were barely lukewarm. I understand if she was the only server there, but then the hostess needs to step up(be trained) to get drinks and maybe take orders.
