Revised I would LOVE for this to be a five star review. As a very long time customer (since the store opening) and also a past Assistant Manager for Dominoās working under Albert, I was very unimpressed today. Before, I never had a problem with this store. They use to always provide excellent customer service, time management and made pizza etc. to company standards. I believe all the above is being met, except for Customer Service. As the owner and manager are aware, one bad experience can greatly affect your store. This was the case tonight. Now I understand. Dealing with an unreasonable customer that you can not reconcile with is a very complicated task. Sometimes you canāt win no matter how much to try. Iāve been on the other side of that counter and NEVER want to be a customer that make things complicated. I would like to have gotten the name of the woman I spoke with on the phone. Since I have worked with a Dominos, it has become basically a requirement (or more of a habit) to request the small task of having a small side solo cup with pizza sauce. Eleven years of doing this. With ALL locations I have ever ordered from. Itās never been an issue. According to the young lady, they CANNOT do that. When I responded with āI have been doing this for years, are you sure?ā She brushes it off and continues on. She didnāt ask, she didnāt check and honestly seemed to care less about my request. I will say her asking if the side marinara sauce would be ok, is what saved this star rating from being lower. I went into full detail of what I wanted and stated that wasnāt the same taste and I donāt particularly like the plastic cupped marinara. Yes, I know I am super picky. If I can order at a store, one Iāve never ordered at before, and have my request made, I think holding the expectation of a store I have been doing it for years at, is very reasonable. My suggestion, if the request isnāt unreasonable, please do whatever it takes to bring your customer coming back for more. Especially a long time customer. I hope this small (hopefully one time) bad experience, can be resolved. If not, I have no problem going to either the Randleman Location Dominoās for pickup or Papa Johnās for delivery if I am unable to go out with my toddler at the time. Well done Assistant Manager Alex! He redeemed this store QUICKLY. I had to call back. I ordered Boneless Chicken for my 2 year old. I got wings instead. Unfortunately, I believe the young lady was new. He promised to have the correct chicken out ASAP, and promised the sauce. I live less than 4 miles from this location and it always takes at least 20 minutes for my pizza to be delivered after the tracker says the employee has left the store. On one of my last orders, I specifically ordered a pizza without cheese and it showed up completely covered in cheese. I also received a pizza that hadn't been cut at all. The latter wasn't that big of a deal, but the first pizza was completely inedible since the person it was for is lactose intolerant. When I called the store, I was immediately offered a $25 credit, which was never applied to my account. I asked about having the pizza redelivered, but was told it would be at least an hour because they only had 1 delivery driver that day. When I asked if I could just come get it myself, I was begrudgingly told "sure," but they wanted me to return the wrong pizza. They needed the wrong pizza to show the employee what they did wrong. Uh, you put cheese on it when you shouldn't have? Whatever, I drove to the store and returned my pizza. No hello how are you, we're sorry for the inconvenience, nothing when I walked in the door. I called the local number on the front door of the owner and although sympathetic, he really dropped the ball as well. He asked for my information to be sent via text so that he could provide me with (what I assumed) would be a coupon for a future visit for my inconvenience and it's been over 3 weeks and not a thing. I've ordered from them since because unfortunately, they're the only ones in the area, and my order was fine, but the one bad experience was enough to make me skeptical. My lunch break is 30 minutes in length so this restaurant is usually a good place to order from. Today was an exception to that. I placed my order online for a medium pizza at 11:48 this morning. I kept checking the status of it on the pizza tracker online. It showed that it was cooked and being quality checked at 12:15. Then suddenly, at 12:19, I see they are baking my pizza AGAIN. The same one that was supposed to have already been going through the quality check. 1:20pm rolls around and I have finally had it. I had received messages around 1pm that my food was being delivered( but still no sign of the driver). I work 1st shift and get off of work at 4pm, so I have to take my lunch by a certain time each day. I called the store and the woman who answered first attempted to make the excuse that she only had one delivery person working today. I brought up the fact that my order was placed at 11:48 am and I still hadnāt received it. She then said that her system shows I ordered my food at 12:19. I told her about how the website showed my food being checked for quality before that time and then showed it being baked at 12:19. She just had more excuses. She didnāt offer to make the mistake right and was very argumentative with me. Food showed up around 1:34 (almost 2 hours after the placing of my initial order) and it was cold.
