There’s just no easy way to say this...from the very first bite all the way until I stopped pretending that it didn’t, this pizza tasted like and looked like Dominos or some other fast food type pizza. From being somewhat overcooked to the canned-tasting sauce to the meager amount of cheese to the thick, doughy crust, it just wasn’t good. The mushrooms were rubbery and squeaked like cheese curds when I chewed them. Dusina’s does not even offer garlic as a topping. I should have taken this as a bad sign— is fresh garlic not a staple in a restaurant that serves pizza and other Italian dishes? Why is garlic not on hand? Don’t they cook with it? I feel bad saying all this because the people who work there were really friendly and the price was excellent— but there is no getting around it—this was my experience. They have a thriving carryout business and really good reviews. This mystifies me. Maybe the locals know something I don’t. Or perhaps I know something THEY don’t.

You can smell how good the pizza is as you walk in the door. Its so good even the smells should be considered an extra. The staff is the nicest I have dealt with and are an obvious tight knit group.

My driver brought me to pickup my order at Dusinas and it was great as usual. We love the grilled chicken wraps. We also love the people there! They are wonderful!

My family has been ordering from Dusina's Pizza since we moved here (almost 30 years). We've never had the level of disrespectful service that we had today. To say that i am furious is an understatement. We specifically ordered delivery because we DID NOT WANT TO PICK UP OUR FOOD. However, upon delivery the chef salad we ordered my grandmother was left off the order. So we drove into Lexington from Midway to grab the chef salad. We get there and all I can say is "we had a-" before the girl, without saying a word, turns her back and goes to the refrigerator, returns and TOSSES the salad in my face UPSIDE DOWN. Didn't say a word to me, didn't let me speak, she threw the salad at me and walked off. Clearly she was the one who was checking orders that went out for delivery and she was at fault. I at least expected an apology and a calmly delivered salad. If I hadn't been so shocked I would've tossed it back. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. We will NOT be returning to Dusina's, which is a shame, because our family has always loved their food. Train your wait staff or...

This is by far the best pizza joint in town. I have lived in Lexington my entire life and I've never had one bad experience here. I live too far away for delivery at the moment but when I did live within delivery range my food was alway hot and delivery was always within a timely manner. We ordered there so much all the delivery drivers knew exactly where to go. I live about 20 minutes away right now so I don't get to eat there nowhere near as much as I'd like to. There's only 2 pizza places I'll eat pizza from, Lil Caesars and Dusinas but Dusinas is much better. All their food is good whereas Lil Caesar's, pizza is the only thing worth eating in my opinion. Dusinas has amazing wings, their subs are tasty, their salads are always fresh, and their homemade ranch dressing is delicious! Not to mention they have a variety for kids that won't eat "the good stuff". They have chicken nuggets, corn dogs, fries, and chips just to name a few. My only complaint is I wish there was one closer...
